Hallo,
This is applicable to anyone currently in any of my plot lines: Can you send me a list of your PNP spells so I have a record of it.
I prewarn ye, I might ask why you know said spells.
If you don't send me a list, don't expect to be able to use said spells in the plot from this point on!
Thanks

How exactly do we list the cleric spells, though? As far as I know, a cleric can cast any cleric spell as long as they pray for it. The limit is only what the deity would reasonably grant. There's potentially a lot of cleric spells to list >_>

The same can be said of Arcane spells, you know. Just be smart. What would your character pray for/study during a war? Don't just copy/paste the d20srd!

Not quite, Jes, because as an Arcanist, you have to go out and commit to studying the spell. I suppose it could be reasoned a cleric would at least have to be -aware- of the spell in order to ask for it. So in that sense, his PnP magic would be limited to what he's looked into, performed before, etc.
Either way, Silent's word is given!
I'll be sure to send you my clerical stuffs.

Yeah, what Hackysack said. Divine casters are weird like that.
I'm only really asking to see if there is a limit on what can be picked or something. I'm going to be reasonable, of course, hah.

Except Sorcerors, they dont study to gain spells and mostly gain or loose them at random

From what I read in the novels I always assumed sorcerers gained spells by seeing others cast them. They could only remember a few spells but they learned them instantly. Just what I always thought, anyway please feel free to correct me.

Sorcerer spells generally come from their bloodline.

I would also casually direct this discussion on spells toward the General Questions thread, so we don't muddle Silent's proclamation or intent.

Quite a number of us won't be home from work today until about midnight GMT, and there was apparantly an IC meeting during work hours today that may have changed a few things. Lets say about 01:00 GMT? If not, I understand and I'll make do with the list I sent.

Okay, you have two extra hours from this posting. Those of you in this plot should also give this a good read through, there isn't a TL:DR version! viewtopic.php?f=56&t=69802

Done! You have twelve hours. Also, this plot will be starting full force in 8 hours, stuff might happen before then though, so... man the walls!
