Morning, evening, nights. I am not sure if this is the right forum section, but I'll regret that later.

The problem is the following; I can't use evil aligned items having Use Magic Device (UMD henceforth). Not specific aligned, such as lawful evil or neutral evil would be, but just evil. (Meaning that I CAN use the specific aligned ones.)
For the rest, UMD works perfectly fine and emulates any class or other alignement.
I am using a bard level 16 with 15 ranks on UMD, +2 for a necklace and it reachs 23 for some reason I unknown.

If I am missing some sort of vital information, let me know. Thank you beforehand.

UMD Gets the bonus from CHA. The item you are trying to equip is most likely too expensive. (UMD Works with money value, here's a table to help you gauge what score you need for objects: [link], just scroll down a bit.)
