I'd like to ask for input about any possible requirements concerning enchanting magical items (aka DC requests). Are there any solid requirements caster must have - certain levels, being able to cast spells that are similar to ability you want to enchant (like mage armor/magic vestment for armor bonus etc.)? I know NWN lacks certain item creation feats (Craft Wondrous Item/Magic Arms and Armor) and I'd like to know what is good way to substitute those - or it's up to every caster to just make up their own way of enchanting? Any input is welcome.

There's a bit of leeway but generally the caster in question should find a spell that's as similar as possible to the effect that want to enchant. And obviously they need to be able to cast said spell.
