As the title, my question to you is this; 'What do you like best about Amia?'

What things keep you coming back? What makes it more special than other servers? Or other games? Please try and keep it all positive, we're just looking at Amia's strengths in this thread!

My friends. The RP I have with them.

While leveling isn't -as- easy as I might like, it's much easier than other places.

I basically agree with the above statements. It mirrors what I would have posted.

The best thing I like about Amia that I can legally hate and kill people with black skin.

I like the DM events, I used to really love all the random items DMs would make to go with them but sadly they stopped

Primarily people. I cannot be bothered to go to another server to establish relationships (bad and good) with other people. The setting isn't too bad either, I guess. But mostly I both leave and return out of boredom.

As Ego said this still occurs, just less often.

Aye. Leveling is a bitch but overall i return because one can change the server.

The attention to FR lore

The detail to the stories and most places in the mod.

The ussually very immersive and entertaining rp I run into. This defenitely includes plots like the Cordor plot. I loved it so far.

The very knowledgeable (lorewise that is) and helpfull staff members. I havent been snubbed once and I certainly shot my fair share of questions to them in my various forms of ignorance.

The ability for custom races/spells/items and the stern look the dms take at it (so its not overdone or unbalanced)

The way many classes and abilities have been tweaked to make them nicer to play with (example; monster summons and other summons by ability/ spell)

Having a dutch chicken at the helm.

I came to Amia for the waters. (I was misinformed.)

Well, it's pretty much the only populated server at the moment save Sinfar, so...there's that

My favourate thing about Amia is that I can log in again :p

I can log in, get my D&D fix (been playing D&D one way or another for 30 years now) and never leave my house!

Because it's not Sinfar!

It is by the far the best balanced server in terms of classes and spells, can always get RP even if only 5 players are on, excellent IG playerbase, lots of effort put into history and lore, custom classes, the ability to make custom spells/items etc.

I think a thread like this is just as important as the Identity thread I started, and I'm very glad that GG chose to start it. We all know there is always room for improvement, but it's good to step back and just be thankful for the good stuff once in awhile too

The thing I like most about Amia? The potential I see in it to be even better than it already is for the great RPers and -by- the great RPers, that I've had the pleasure of encountering here.

I love 99% of the rp I get here, its by far the best and most intense rp experience ive had online since i first got the net in 1992.

perhaps except playing bubble bubble with a friend a few years ago over the net, where we really got into the spirit of being two dragons trying to save our loved ones with the use of umbrellas.
