| Post subject: | Trying to find the server in a list of no servers :( |
ok have a question. I am trying to find the server now that I have my laptop and NWN installed on it and I can not find the server anywhere. I do know that Bioware took down their main servers so i am a bit lost about how to go about this. If someone could help me out. i do have a direct connect option but it requires the password and server i.p address. If anyone has any information that could help me that would be awesome as i would like to start playing again really soon. |

type in: 185.29.203.11:5121 for A, 5122 for B. Just leave the password field blank, after you've connected it'll show up in your history tab. |

Look in the left upper corner - there is location of current IP addresses of Amia servers, so just copy them - either 185.29.203.11:5121 (for Amia A) or 185.29.203.11:5122 (for Amia B) and paste it into "Direct Connect" in Multilayer Internet section. It should work just fine. At latter date you can be able to login from history screen, or just add it to favorites and login from there too. (all those tabs are located in the same section of Multilayer > Internet). |

You could try downloading: http://www.neverwinternights.info/nwncx.htm It'll re-activate the server-list. You'll find Amia under role-play. If you can't connect then you should probably explore your router/firewall settings. |

Remember, Gamespy (or what ever it is that the system used to use to populate said list of servers) is nonexistant, so that list of servers and such doesn't work. Use a direct connect and cut/paste the IP addys here on the forums. |

Try this. It's from the NWN Vault, but I haven't used it so can't be certain. http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Other.Detail&id=1505#Files |

viewtopic.php?f=112&t=59225 This. And Password isn't required for direct connect, just fill in the IP addy and let 'er rip. |
