I just got a new computer and installed nwn, got all the haks and updates, etc, I can log onto amia from the server list and see my character list, but when I log in I get booted. Is this due to it being from a different copy of the game? (because I have 2 copies of NWN and the one I installed on my new comp might not be the one I put on the old one, as I have had the old one for 7-8 years) both copies are store-bought with CD keys from the manual. I don't think it is IP because I have both comps set up and I can still log on with the old one. If it is due to it being a different copy, is there anything that can be done?

It's a security thingie to stop other people using your characters. Ask a DM in game and they'll fix it.

OK I remembered reading about something like that, glad it's something easily fixed.
