DM Question

I have been thinking and in the future i think i want to start my own Faction. It would be a Adventuring Guild made up of Adventurers, Craftsman, Merchants, a Trading Post and have a service of Body Guards for hire. I wanted to ask the Dm's if it would be okay for me to make a side char in the Faction who will never be past lvl eight, and play a Bodyguard to Low level Chars. Purposes of using him would be to help out Newbies to the server, helping New chars from existing Players with Leveling, help promote the Body Guard Service, Recruiting and Garnish a Reputation.

*I also plan on Requesting Two Bottled Companions. One a Personal Body Guard, the other a Wife and Healer to my Toon.*

Only one character per faction.

I at least am not willing to make ecxeptions here because then everyone else will come up with a half decent explanation aus of why they would want a second character in their own faction and frankly your explanation would work for any other faction and character too and then Webware back to the same issue as of why we did forbid it in the first place.

Other DM may see it different than I but i am a no.

You don't need to stay low level to help low levels anymore. A level 30 can run around with a lvl 2 now days without any XP loss.

Well thats not quite correct, there is a proportional xp penalty in place and while I don't know the exact scale, 30-2 would drop the xp down to 1 with 100% certainty.

Not entirely accurate. Well, for a 2? Not sure... but a 5, still gets xp.
