I have made a public discord server for the whole of amia for community use. There will/can be locked channels for factions and there is public text and voicechannels for both server A server B and public. https://discord.gg/BC4yx This link will give you access to the server. feel free to use and hop in! |

Discord is just an IRC chat with voice function, works better than skype because skype rooms stop at 25 people and as a result don't allow for large community stuff all together. IRC chats are antiquated but honestly bring large communities of players together, as well maintained and moderated IRC chat is great for a community because OOC everyone talks and isn't constantly treating each other like there isn't a player on the other side of the character. Mass OOC chat servers remove the need for individual faction skype groups IMO. |

Just an fyi: i don't use Skype and dont have discord. If anyone on either says it's me it's not. Also im pretty sure my actual Skype which I don't use except for irl shit is linked to my irl name so unless someone using my irl name says it's me, it's not. |

You missed my point. It's just a glorified IRC chatserv. Anybody can name themselves anything. Someone could be on it right now named "Rashad" and for whatever reason be doing anything and not be me. How active is the server anyway? I have a lot of servers I'm a part of for many games/communities, adding Amia to the list seems fun but it looks kind of dead tbh! |
