Hey DM Team,

I've been looking for the Rules of Flight mentioned in the description of my flight feat. "As an OOC note, be especially careful that you are aware of the rules of Flight before using it."

Where are the rules please?

I am not a DM, so hopefully one can confirm, but it is basically:

-Do not use to gain access to inaccessible areas that you can not see/fly to.
-Do not use it in situations you can not fly (though most of these are governed mechanically).
-Do not use if you do not have an actual IC means of flying (if you lose your wings due to RP, for example).

I'm probably missing some, but this is the general gist.

Rules are:
Do not use as an exploit.
Do not use to 'hop' in to areas across walls as in a dungeon.
Do not use to pvp as in the case with attacking some one only capable of melee from an up high area they can not mechanically get to you in.

There are a few 'secret' areas in game that are only access able to flight users and SJ users. You may go to these areas.

The general over all idea is not to abuse it.

Do not use it in pvp to escape with the intent to re-engage.

Do not use it in pvp to reach an otherwise unaccessible area unless you intend to leave right then and there and not come back.

Frankly I'd advise against using it in pvp at all unless you stay on the same Z axis.

Don't use the long animation to dodge spells like time stop.
