I just felt the need to inform the team that the Wood elf subrace in the list states that they get a +2 to dex that seems to not be functioning IG. Just thought I would let you know.

Are you saying you loose the +2 dex from picking the elf race when you apply the subrace?

I think you misunderstand the subrace system.

When you make a normal elf you already get +2 dex, so when you make a wood elf you shouldn't see any change to your dex after character creation.

When you choose a subrace what happens is that the normal bonuses of your race are removed from your character template, then the bonuses of your subrace are added afterwards.

Shadowfiend is right, the stats you’re seeing are applied without your original base race’s stats.

Yeah I had been up all night and that apparently messed with my head a bit. Building on no sleep at 5 am is not a good idea. Lol
