In the next few updates we've got some neat things coming your way this summer. Some things contained in here have had A LOT of content omitted due to plot reasons, so involved in the things coming your way there are some great unannounced things. Kraken Dungeon YEP! It's finally coming out. This new Epic Dungeon aimed at 3-5 endgame characters offers a unique challenge of entering the ruins under the Trackless Sea. To clarify a massive lore issue that happened on its initial release due to miscommunication, the dungeon will be released tethered to the Serpent Isle. It's the perfect place to learn how to clear when another new update comes out... Unique Boss Drop system Amia has, in my own opinion, a nice endgame for those that enjoy the mechanics of NWN and what Amia offers on top. One issue, we believe, is that the +5 Lootbin as a standalone is great, but doesn't offer much incentive to go to harder bosses. We're not keen on trying to push our own balance system to +6 loot, however this new system will give each Epic boss 5 unique drops that can be dropped alongside the +5 loot. One such item that will be obtainable will be the coveted Divine Mythal. When this update drops, trust me, there will be no shortage of ECL 21-30 hunting groups. Ruins of the Holy City Near readiness in dev-work and with the plot pushing players to dare to open the gates, soon the calamity of what befell Kohlingen will be for all to observe, this new dungeon is split in to two "parts", the first of which will be released this month. This first phase is an ECL 18-23 dungeon with several minibosses along the way. It will feature a miniboss that drops +3 random items with a rare chance of a +4 random item. You will need to beat said miniboss to gain a certain item which will put in you to the second part of the dungeon... featuring a brand you [REDACTED] epic boss... I know a lot of you are very excited for this, I am too! New area - Chalkcliff island This area will be met with two distinct reasons of those who knew it was coming and those who have not. With pending of a certain plot, Chalkcliff will be featuring a unique dynamic for Amia B. The south of the island will contain [REDACTED], with the middle sections featuring a new ECL 5-10 hunting area in the forest, a new Grove aimed at Neutral and EVIL players (a counter-Grove to Amia's) alongside a bizarre dungeon containing Undead and [REDACTED] aimed at 13-18 ECL which is using the concept of Rogue skills to push through in efficiency. To the north, the open fields contain a new hunting area aimed at the Amia EE inclusion of mounts as well as characters with fast movement speed. Alongside here is a brand new settlement for Orcs, Hobgoblins, Goblins, Kobolds... and Bugbears. Wolfpelt Village will offer these monstrous places a nice new starting point on Amia B without binding them solely to the Underdark. There's a lot more on this island that is being kept secret for now. Some unique content will be released on this island, including additional drop tables to the mobs there, as well as some long overdue equipment to Evil Druids/Rangers. Job System streamlining A lot of Job System updates are coming! "GASP!" I hear you say "DIDN'T THE DM TEAM SAY THE JOB SYSTEM WAS A PAIN TO UPDATE?" Hahahahaha- it really is damn it. But nonetheless, we've got some great quality of life updates coming, including how XP is distributed. This is the tip of the iceberg, but one last thing. Amia EE Your waiting period... is becoming much shorter... We're nearly there. |

For a couple of reasons: 1: With the back coding for the forums needing work to be integrated with the new EE server and systems, it's ideal to make everything from go with the forums instead of trying to alter a forum set that has been progressively altered over 16 years span of time. 2: The forums that we currently have are not exactly as secured as we'd like and altering service providers would help to change that. 3: If issues arise with the forums in general we would like them to be hosted by someone that has the time to address them. With Disco not being an active player atm and having several things irl to keep him busy it is unfair to ask of him to continue upkeep on forum maintenance when it can simply be changed to be handled by someone more pro-active in the community at the given moment. |

Not surprised to see 1 (re: admintools, db, etc) and 3, they make sense. Best of luck to the poor sap who has to transfer the backups from here to make sure no history is lost. (You are doing that, right?) |

We already have all the databases back uped, etc. It is just a matter of getting them integrated. |
