At night, the shadows in South Cordor are a bit deeper, the night is a bit thicker. People walking around in groups will notice a feeling of being watched, but can never seem to find the watcher. Someone walking around alone will also get the watched feeling, but might also feel a passing breath in their ear, or sometimes on the back of their neck. Those who live in South Cordor start to experience more vivid dreams.

*Traipses through the deep allies of the South. She tended to hug to the darkness, and allowed it to hug to her form. Though she was known as the 'Silver Wizard'..she often found herself coated in shadowy ichor, of Shadow Shield. Clacking about, her heels reporting the slow movements of her form.

She simply would move about, eyes narrowed. She had had a growing forboding, and a shuddering deep in her frame. Her goddless ways sometimes seemed to leave her vacant.

Always tossing a gander over her shoulder, growing fear, and ascertations of a strong force... eats at her psyche. Her phobia of vampires, begining to kick up. Mind falling back on the old standby.

She however kept up her 'visits' ..trips.. and other activities.. though her steps were a bit more brisk. *

Keri walks through, almost absoultly oblivious to it, just putting it down to one of her 18 stalkers, or maybe a nineteenth, she starts skipping along, and hums with an hand in her pocket clenching something just incase

Gillaria's patrols of the South are less frequent than they used to be, especially at night. When once she would dally about the docks or sit on one of the benches outside the Long and Short, she now hastens to finish her round and be back to the certain insanity of the Eastern Square, but at least it was certain.

With a glance behind her, she downs her fifth cup of coffee that evening, trying to stave off that cold fear that she somehow cannot shake as she hurries past the one of the dark dead ended alleyways. She considers carrying her flaming bow, having it's warm glow surrounding her to keep her company, but thinks better of it, those arrows are for death, and she has little stomach for the taking of petty criminal's lives. She was too jumpy as it was - Maybe it was the shadows, maybe it was the coffee; she couldn't tell. Maybe the Law Knight was following her, checking up on her, making sure she wasn't associating with the wrong people. She'd hear someone like that for certain, wouldn't she?

A shrill cry rises up, piercing the otherwise deathly quiet night, and at that instant her heart starts pounding and her worst thoughs of what a scream can mean come to the fore and she stands there, scanning the street around her, senses and insides quivering until, just as quickly, it is silenced by the dull thud of the closing of a window or a cuff to the head and the realization that it was only a child's nightmare. It's only Southside.

A small black cat, rather panther looking, as if a Panther kitten skitters about the south, running out of the Chamberpot. It paused, the tag with "Li'" inscribed onto a lilac collar swaying with some unseen breeze. It shivered, glancing around into the shadows and hissing a warning, before turning into a small fey with midnight blue hair and lilac wings, the silver and black swirls invisable at the speeding of the wing beats as she zooms out of there in fear, shivering ocassionally.

Daos always felt shivers down his spine while walking through that part of the town, but he was never sure if that happened because he could feel the evil emanating from the occasional shady characters, that would always make his heart beat fast at the perspective of fighting evil.

Fear was something he never knew.

But there was something odd about that place. It couldn't just be ignored. He wouldn't let it scare him away, for he knew better than to not show weakeness to evil.

Just for the sake of the innocent inhabitant, whenever he would wander through that area, he would try his best to ignore the shivers, so he could mutter a prayer, in draconic, to his Lord, Bahamut.

"To ignore this darkness is asking to let it overcome us. Instead of feeding it with my fear, I'll pray for my Lord to set his icy blue eyes in this area and annihilate this evil force at his first opportunity. I won't let it overcome me. And I'll certainly try not to let it overcome the people here either."

So. This is what is to become of this part of town. Never could say I was partial to it. Though it suits me just fine. Funny. Never would have thought I'd be amongst the shadows, instead of stalked by them. Luckily, I can stand my ground. No matter how deep the shadow, or how fierce the wind, I will always stand true.

And Unulith continued on, with his own thoughts his own.

Defender Aurora walks the streets of south cordor a lot since the murders, the light of his cloak and bracers pushing the darkness back to where it belongs. He comes here to think, searching for anything that may provide more information. He sees the darkness as an afront, one he cannot stand.

*Radarmantro stalks through the dark streets, his head bowed in thoughts, his face as grim as always, but he feels something nagging in the back of his mind.... not fear... he is beyond that.. but a rottenness, a bad feeling in the gut... something is wrong here, and it is observing me*

*taking a look around, he goes to stand by the dock to think depressing thoughts, his only companion it seems, then he stalks back through the streets, daring an unsavory duergar to push his luck with an icy glare, then continues back to east cordor*

*Lomir Ayloud wanders round South Cordor ,quietly singing a halloween song, when he feels something brush against him. He turns around and gropes for his sword until he realises no-one is there. He laughs to himself and continues on his way. Suddenly he swears he hears a whisper in his ear. He shivers before pulling out his notebook and writes something down. He then hurries off, praying that no-one is after him*

Xaviera stalks down the street, cursing the bouncers at the Sanctuary of Sin. "Ten years I've been in this business and those... those... grrr! refuse to make me a member. Blast! What do I need - references?"

The low-lifes and thugs glance up as she passes and then carry on their shady business in the dim alleys and dark corners. She waves casually to the two working girls at the north end of the quarter, who nod and wave back languidly. Just another night in South Cordor....

Jack walks down the streets of South Cordor in his newly issued private uniform and curses silently at the darkness. As he walks, he feels like he's being watched more then usual and keeps his weapons in his hands. He turns around to look but his reaction time is slow and his armour's heavy.

"Why doesn't my light spells work here?"

Kronk is not the brightest torch in the darkness.... but hes no fool.... if you told him that theres nothing wrong in south cordor, he'd call you a liar, or maybe even 'stoopid'

He knows theres something out of place, but what frustrates him more is that his wish for cconfrutation is not satisfied... the phantoms of the south remain hidden, and the darkness remains encroaching...

Kronk does not fear the dark... Kronk does not fear much at all.... but Kronk travels swiftly thru the southern streets of late...

Khra'zunn feels the shadows in the dim street light, the hairs on the back of his neck prickling. His hand draws closer to his cutlass and dagger as he continues his buisness, talking to the thugs in the allyways. As he turns to walk out a swift breeze nicks his ear, letting a small drop of blood fall.

'Seems I ain't the only one 'o's gettin' these feelin's...' he mutters, scratching his arse and glancing around before heading into the sewers.

Thilidar passes the streets for a random nightly visit and smirks slightly nodding to the shadows as he feels being watched. He salutes the unknown presence a moment and believes it does the same back, he chuckles slightly shaking his head and walks off... The usual.

The lithe figure that is Earylduil stalks through the Southern district of Cordor, keeping an eye out for any trouble as per his standard. Ears twitching periodically to everything, keeping a close eye on his surroundings...

Whatever it was, it had him quite alarmed. Very few things would have him walking through neutral territory while fully armed.

Come out! Damnit... What is that... He muttered to himself, eyes darting across the area before he finally finished his route, sparing not a single second in "evacuating" the area.

Thorp walks straight towards the docks not knowing of anything wrong in South Cordor. He got a tip that he might find his brothers in Brogendenstein and decides to take the boat there. While cursing the boat captain for not taking him he feels a slight breeze on the back of his neck. Shivering he quickly leaves the South District all the while muttering under his breath. To calm his nerves... a few drinks at the Inn, but a few quickly degenerated into too many. It'll be a wonder if he remembers going to the docks, let alone the creepy feeling of being followed.

Kala walked across the alleyway, clutching at her cloak tighter as she cursed the cold night. As she walked, she began to listen to the sound of her boots on the street. As she walked, the sound of the soft leather on the cobblestones began to seem louder and louder as the sounds of the city died away. Soon enough, they began to all but echo in the silence.

Kala shivered as she tried to wrap the cloak even tighter around her. As she looked around her, the darkness appeared to be darker then darkness ever should be allowed to be. With each flicker of the streetlamps in the windless night, the shadows slinked all around her.

Suddenly, the wind raced through the streets, nearly extinguishing the nearby lamp post. The wind blew through Kala’s hair and her cloak flew free of her grasp, billowing in the wind. As the light sputtered, something seemed to move in the shadows. But as Kala managed to get her hair out of her eyes, all she could see was the yellow light on the street.

She did not quicken her pace, but she did hold on tightly to her cloak.

Maran walks to the Mythal place, his bear spirit making him think of hunting, and blood running through his teeth....until he gets the feeling someone is watching him. He sniffs around, then mutters "There be somethin' wrong here...why can't I smell it?" Bear growls at the night, and he quickly pulls out his greatsword out of his back-sheath as he seems to see a shadow move in the aproaching darkness. "Come out, ya damned thin'. Come out and meet my claws...." However, nothing seems to be there. "Whatever that damned thin' was, it ain't natural.." He shivers as the wind picks up, and growls again as his bear spirit becomes angry at the imposing darkness. 'I'll find ya, ya bloody thin'. I'll find ya. That's a promise!" However, the only answer is the wind, and Bear thinks he hears a snicker in it, an unspoken dare of a unnatural force....

*Smirking to himself and keeping to the shadows he follows. Crouching down he lifts a rock from the ground and throws it across the street. He watches with a wicked grin as the peasant hes following jumps and turns tail running from the south. As the peasant runs he likes out a loud feminine scream followed by silence. He turns his head looking around as the lights turn on in the homes the doors bolted shut.*

Me and you have alot in commen my mysterious friend.

*He nods to the shadows as he turns and walks back towards the east of cordor.*

Perhaps one day you and i will meet.
