The northern gate of Shadowscape swings open on silent hinges and the outline of a man appears from out of the dark abyss. The guards hesitate slightly longer than usual, in surprise, or perhaps in recognition.

The dark outline of the man moves quietly and fluidly through the city streets, some look back as if to ensure that they had indeed seen someone pass by.

The shape ends its short trek at the front door of the Three Steps Academy where it enters and takes up residence in a large, worn, brown leather chair.

Passerbyers and students now notice that the shape is indeed in the form of a man, clad in garments once black, now turned somewhat gray due to prolonged expose to the plane of darkness.

Traces of hair flow out from within its hood, raven black mixed with a dark grey.

But mostly, the piercing emerald eyes demand the attention of the observer. Filled with emotion, though which ones is unknown.

Looking at the attendance board one would notice a placard that had long remained on the 'out' peg is now switched to 'in'.

The placard reads thus

Instructor Fel'Brin
