I have asked Tranny and Gers to be in charge of all Drow related stuff. They do a lot of it already anyway, so it is a bit of an open door. Maybe Machiavelli will get involved as well, but I didn't dare to ask her, seeing what's already on her plate. Basically we get two captains on the ship who cover a nice range of timezones together. The rationale behind this is that I noticed that other members of the staff tend to get involved when things heat up, which isn't always helping when you want to smooth out tense situations. Limiting the interaction to two DM's should decrease the noise level a bit. I have the feeling that a lot of shit that happens on Amia in general, and Drowland in particular, is caused by a combination of miscommunication and long toes. Hope the clear DM setup helps with the first issue, and as far as I am concerned the two likeable lads cut off any toes that are too long if they think that is necessary. When I have the feeling things are running a lot better we'll probably return to the usual set up. Mind that this kinda addresses some stuff Didi brought up about a month ago. You'll have no strange events by people who are not hip enough to know Drow. The other side of the coin is that you are now limited to these two DM's, and you won't bother any other DM to do Drow related stuff. I hope this is clear. I am not going to get into details here because the details belong to Gers and Tranny. I am sure you'll hear more of them sooner or later. |

Mach will not be getting involved, thank you. This means no more MSN messages to me with your issues. |

I still think "Drow DM's" is a silly idea, since all the DM's should be taking part in this. But I understand the need given past events. |

I'll be honest, the drama I've come back to has found me logging onto my druid rather than my drow for playing on Amia lately. The hatred some drow players show towards the DMs (or certain DMs), with no foundation for their arguments and the blatant metagaming I've encountered and been pressured into in -1 week- since my return has successfully chased me out of the Underdark without wish to get involved. Still, hanging out with some of you drow is cool. The RP has been nice. |

Just in case someone is wondering why I'm still not around. I'm plagued by exams. Next week: Monday- American Literature exam. Tuesday- Practical Grammar exam, and I'm retaking Deutsch. Wednesday- Might have to retake Phonetics exam, no results yet. Thursday- Vocabulary exam. Friday- I get drunk if everything goes well Monday-Thursday. Week after is taken up by Latin, British History, and American Culture. You can still send me PMs, but don't expect to see me in-game at least for the next week or two. |
