The Temple was very busy this day with several dressed in Tinnerai black and gold entering then not long after several more dressed in Ussen d’Vhid’s colors, then a lone jalil.
Not long after entering the lone jalil and a jaluk from Ussen d’Vhid would be seen exiting the Temple then drawing weapons and looked to be preparing for battle. They entered the Temple again. Not long after that they would be seen taking the body of Ilharess Velthura Ussen d’Vhid from the Temple to the Ussen d’Vhid compound.
After several moments the Tinnerai would be seen making their way to the Ussen d’Vhid gates with shouts of “They took the Ilharess to her house!” and “Quickly, we must get inside to aid the Ilharess!”
Metal upon metal rang through out the cavern as Ust’Ilharess Nizzre’tyne, a very large Orog, a bodak and other Tinnerai bashed in the gates.
The door to the main house proved much more difficult however as after bashing, attempting to melt metal with arcane and divine spells and picking the lock proved unsuccessful. In what must have been divine intervention, a slave opened the door and his flight to freedom was cut short by Ust’Ilharess Nizzre’tyne, Priestess Zah’lin’il and others. They quickly entered the house following the panicked slave.
Then sometime later, Ilharess Velthura, Priestess Zah’lin’il and others exited Ussen d’Vhid. A conversation took place with what looked like a deep gnome in size, the Ul’Faeruk Krrja and another male drow. Ilharess Velthura, Ust’Ilharess Nizzre’tyne and Priestess Zah’lin’il then went to the Temple.
Sometime later Ilharess Ul’ath’tallar Velthrua would have been seen exiting the Temple, weapons drawn and fully surrounded by protections. She stalked over to where Ul’Faeruk Krrja and the others stood.
Nizzre’tyne stepped close enough to the Ul’faeruk to been seen while she was cloaked in Lolth’s invisibility. She was turned to be able to see Velthura’s approach and was busy in prayer. Her prayers brought Lolths divine power forth but they were not prayers of assistance against Velthura. No. They were prayers of offering.
“My Dread Queen, Velthura has forbid your faithful from paying tribute in your Temple. Velthura has forbid your consorts Spider Guard from protecting your Temple. Velthura has not brought her temple agent, the one whom allowed the heretic Viz’aun to kill and escape, before you. Velthura does not test or command any of your selected priestesses to pay tribute to you. Velthuras own jaluk raised his blade against her. Velthura is no fit Ul’ath’tallar, Dread Queen of the Webs. And this day, I will prove it to you.”
Velthura shifted into an umberhulk and Nizzre’tyne was already pulling forth a hammer to fall upon Velthura. Just as that was cast, Nizzre’tyne began casting again.
Now that Velthura had sight of Nizzre’tyne she moved forward and her weapon connected damaging Nizzre’tyne. But Nizzre’tyne was on the move and ran a few strides forward. Then she turned and was casting again. When the spell was off Velthura fell to the cavern floor. NIzzre’tyne cast twice more and Velthura lay… unmoving.
Nizzre’tyne voice, strong and empowered rang out. “AND WITH THE POWER OF THE DREAD QUEEN I PUT YOU DOWN!”
Then, Nizzre’tynes voice losing none of its power but lowering in volume, continued. “Before witnesses Velthura attacked the First Ilhraess and Yathrin of the Queen. And before witnesses the Queen has chosen Yathrin Ust'Ilharess Nizzre'tyne Tinnerai as her champion in this matter. Zah'lin'il I appoint you immediately as yath'abban and care taker of the Temple. You will be tested as soon as you are able for Yathrin and then Yath'tallar."
Yath’abban Zah’lin’il bowed low completely in shock of what just happened. “A-as you wish Ust'Ilharess.”
“If none prove more powerful than you, you will be appointed Ul'ath'tallar.” Nizzre’tyne said. “Do not fail the Dread Queen.” Her tone now cold and menacing. “For my hand is Hers.”
The body was then searched, stripped and taken to the Temple. The head did not make it to the Temple.
