Post subject:  (OOC) Size of the Underdark server?
Maybe an unusual question... I am wondering what size is Underdark on Amia. My main server I played for last year+ has literally hundreds of screens of caves, caverns and tunnels... getting to the surface from starting city is serious trek (and impossible for low levels... well maybe with some invisibility if they know the way. Of course there's also gate to surface now which makes that moot hehe.) Anyway, it's huge, unfortunately population is lacking.

Recently I tried another server, numbers of people were better, I was digging the character and rp only to find out server transition to surface is literally 4 screens from starting town. And doesn't seem there's much more (at least talking to higher level characters) so basically I just saw whole thing already.

I was wondering about what size is Amia underdark? :)

(I did make a hobgoblin several weeks ago but they start on surface)

Massive.

To say the very least, you can level from 2 to 30 easy on server B without ever leaving the UD, and the UD folk are epic OOCly.

I just started on this server myself in August, Dayfer. I of course immediately rolled a toon down in the UD, there is so much to do down there. Of course there are ways to get to the surface if you know the place but as a new player its doubtful you will find the shortcuts so fast. The interaction of surface and UD is also very good, as they are constantly battling when the slavers try to nab surfacers.

Do note that with an ECL +1, you will only be able to become level 29.

That's not a link we're using any more, so you seem to be getting out-dated links from somewhere. If it's from the Amia Hak page, then click refresh whilst on there and look again.
