Two headless, almost naked drow corpses are impaled upon large bones. One is female, one is male... they seem to be a warning. Placed right outside of the city in The Deeper Dark, they seem to say: "Don't go in!" or "Don't come out!" There is a large amount of blood about as well, but who knows what gets licked up by Underdark animals...

Should someone look into the Temple's donation box, they would find a magical bag containing two drow heads. One with keen eyes would have noticed a figure in a pure black attire putting the bag into the donation box.
