A rather out-of-place and perhaps nervous looking man is occasionally seen about the Living City. He is usually dressed in plain traveling leathers with a faded blue longcoat, a satchel slung across his shoulder and cowl pulled low.

Always keeping to himself, he generally appears at the portal node and makes straight for the library or classroom, stays for an hour or two at the most and then departs via portal wand.

The only real notable feature about the young man, is a gold coin that continually travels along his knuckles and that he seems to walk a route that always keeps him as far away as possible from any of the city's undead inhabitants.

After a few weeks of not being seen about the city, the young man in faded blue-grey traveler's clothes is seen again in the library. He finds an unused desk or other writing space and sets about spreading out papers and books; some his own and some pulled from the library's shelves for reference.

An hour is spent in the library, pouring over spell notations and quietly mumbling to himself. Finally the young man stands and departs the Living City, moving out of the library before activating his portal wand.

He would notice a heavy set individual walking her patrols in a gold black and silver sleeveless robe showing plate armor on the arms wearing a cloak bearing the blue colors of a Sergeant in the Living Guard, from time to time a brief militant nod would be offered. If she was stopped for one reason or another, she would converse with him and/or give directions and limited information.

Any nod from the unfamiliar Sergeant would elicite a small, somewhat hurried nod in return, but nothing further. The young man would (for the time being) simply go about his business, minding his own business in the process.

During the man's passing at the library, he would come across an elven figure, garbed in a loose gown, cinched at the waist. Her hands are gloves and her head is hooded, but an attentive peek toward her face would reveal a rather pale visage, with black streaks of hair peaking through. Should he look in her direction, he would see she already noticed him. She would maintain the gaze upon the man. If he stayed long enough, she would approach and ask a question to the worried man.

"What troubles you? Is there a problem?" said an elven voice, a bit worn by age and dust.

He had stayed for an hour or so on that particular visit.

When approached, he would quietly close the main, thick tome he had been looking through with a faint click as it locks itself. Judging by the carefully cared for cover, and the runes of warding on the front written in something of a mix of infernal and draconic, it's likely the tome is a spellbook of some manner. Other papers and books are strewn across the desk, but they are mostly common works to do with some of the lower circle Abjuration, Divination and Transmutation spells.

At her question, he would shake his head slightly, seeming to throw on a bit of confidence around him like one might throw on a cloak. No problem, he would reply quietly, keeping the conversation between them alone, I just came here to study.

The woman simply replied with a nod. But, she then decided to add:

"Should you need assistance in your quest for knowledge, I am Elvora..."

This simple intorduction does seem to do much for the man's demeanor, and though the coin that flits along his knuckles remains at a steady pace, his general body language relaxes just a bit. Ranallas Dal, he would reply, returning the nod slightly.

Her offer clearly proving to be something of note to him, You can be found here on occassion?
