Post subject:  [CLOSED] Auction of trinkets, baubles & gewgaws

A notice is posted in all surface cities on the island of Amia itself, as well as in the Triumvir, the Monolith and the Fortress of Wiltun, though news may spread beyond these locales.

Over the years I have accumulated many souvenirs of my journeys about Amia and its environs, and I now find my closets, chests and bags filled to overflowing. It is therefore with reluctance that I offer up my trinkets for auction, in the hopes that others will find them as interesting and useful as I have.

Please communicate your bids to Xaviera Xuider-Xee, High Priestess of Sharess, in person in the city of Cordor or via Speedy Messenger Service. The minimum bid amounts are listed below, the minimum bid increase being one-tenth of the minimum bid. A Ring of Sharess will be valued for trade at 20K gold coins.

Bids will be accepted until Midsummer's Eve of this year, though I reserve the right to remove items at any time.

Due to the number of 'buyout' offers Xavi has received (some of which she has accepted) she decides to modify slightly the terms of the auction.

A 'buyout' offer will be accepted provided it is at least three times a) the starting bid or b) the most recent bid, whichever is greater.

*checking the auction notices as he is oft to do, Frey sees the Staff listed at the top, and the flames pouring out of the eyeslits of the helm seem to increase, yellow and red embers drifting up past the horns of the helm's crown. His voice - as quiet as night but as clear as day, could be heard by any within earshot of the auction notice*

So, a trinket eh?

It seems those things that mineself once held dear, no longer deserve it.

A pity. Goodbye Xaviera.

// The first phase of the auction will end approximately 21.5 hours from this posting, if I've figured out my time zones correctly.

// Any items for which a bid is on file as of noon GMT on Thu 5 Mar (0700 EST) will be sold for that amount. All other items will remain on the block until noon GMT on Sun 15 Mar, and will then be sold under the same conditions. Buyout offers are still being entertained at three times the minimum or last bid, whichever is higher.

// Items deemed sold as of tomorrow can be picked up in game some time tomorrow night - probably after 2300-2400 GMT (1800-1900 EST), at which time I should be on for a few hours. I may be on for an hour Fri morn and an hour or two Fri eve, but apart from that you'd have to wait until the night of the 15th.
