*Circulars bearing the following message are distributed around various surface cities of Amia. In Kohlingen posters are placed by the docks, in the Temple of the Triad's Light, and in Kohlingen West. In Cordor, one poster is placed in the Temple of Waukeen, and another is placed in the Chapel of Lathander. The messenger also attempts to leave a single flyer each in the Iron Butterfly Inn in Winya Ravana, on the messageboard of Bendir Dale, and in the entrance halls of Barak Runedar. If met with resistance in these last locations, the messenger apologizes and departs without making any further attempts.*

Call to Combat Undead Dragon Menace

Adventurers, crusaders, and other foes of the undead, those who seek glory or to promote the cause of righteousness, your wits and weapons are needed to lay to rest a new threat.

The foul drow Valas Claddath -- once of the Grove, but no longer -- has aligned himself with the necromancers of Tarkuul, descecrating the bones of the dragon Imperator from the ruins of Wyrmhold at the behest of the devil Ryriska Ve'heer (a councillor of Tarkuul) and raising them as an undead creature of great power.

Adventurers and crusaders desiring to hunt down this threat are welcome, and those seeking more information are encouraged to speak with the Defenders or other knightly orders of Kohlingen. Members of the Grove may also have information regarding this.

Lyle swears after he reads over the poster he gets, and instead moves it specifically to the militia board. He can be heard muttering about a lack of finesse, and adds the following message to his copy:

Get your story straight.

The dragon rose as a result of an unsuccessful attempt at destroying an evil entity. The undertaking was attempted by myself and some friends who agreed to help. Neither Tarkuul, the grove, nor any other faction or group was involved, or even aware of what we were trying to do. Lady Ryriska had no knowledge of the situation beforehand. She was not involved.

Our intentions were to bind the entity into a mortal host so it could be destroyed. The idea was to use the remains of Infernus, the vile red. Misleading sources and wrong assumptions lead to a mix up. We did not knew that we used the wrong dragon till it was too late.

Some oversights in the plan caused us to fail, and the entity was able to take over Imperator's body and make an escape before we could destroy it.

What happened was a mistake, which everyone involved is working to correct. The end result was not intended. Our intentions were pure, though we erred.

I suggest any interested parties direct their questions and inquiries towards me. Enough rumors are being spread as it is, most of them grossly incorrect.
