Now that the City of Cordor has completed its fine new walls, those of you who were employed thereon and are now bereft of opportunities for labour may rest assured that Amia still requires your services.

The Temple of Love renovation project has been approved by Council for the City of Cordor's northern outskirts.

Materials and furnishings are now being ordered!
Opportunity for High Wages and Bonuses!

The following materials are required
(standard gross construction lots unless otherwise specified):

Marble 100
Granite 10
Limestone 40

Brick 20
Ceramic roofing tile 50*
Mortar, dry 100

Cedar beams 50

Additional crafted materials and furnishings** are also needed, in the following numbers:

25 Benches
60 Bolts of Cotton, for banners &c.
100 Candles
5 Carpets, in abstract designs
10 Chairs, various styles
2 Couches
3 Altars & associated fittings, decorated as appropriate for Sune, Sharess & Lliira***
25 Books, blank, for prayers and liturgical writings
30 Flowers & plants, potted
6 Mirrors of medium & large sizes
6 Tables, regular, varnished, in ash or pine
2 Thrones, wooden

Delivery may be made to Xaviera Xuider-Xee, High Priestess of Sharess, at the Cordor bath house, or Christophan Warrick-Kenlyl, Bursar of Cordor

Remuneration will be at standard guild pricing plus 10%
An additional 10% bonus will be provided for items delivered in lots of 20 or more where requested

What, no beds? Guess those'll need to be disposable anyway.

Although it might be entirely coincidental, a series of bawdy rhymes are heard circulating through the populace of Cordor and, to a lesser extent, some of the other towns of Amia. Examples include the following:

Up, my boys, it's time to go, we're on our way to town!
The ladies love our muscles and we canna let 'em down.
Hoist your shovels and your chisels, grab the handles o' your picks
'Cause we're the miners and the masons and we've got the biggest...

A competing ditty, undoubtedly composed by a disgruntled brickmaker, is also heard in taverns and quarries:

I heard them poncy masons goin' on about their tools
An' let me tell you, girls, momma didn' raise no fools -
A pick goes in yer mouth an' it's a little wooden stick
Come wit' me I guarantee ye'll never see a bigger brick.

From our last conversation, and our agreement, I checked the materials I will need to craft yer furniture. Mind, though, that I found one of yer notices and saw ya need a couple more. If ya didn't find anyone to craft the mirrors, thrones, benches and altar, fear not! Me kid and I will love to make those fer ye!

'ere's what I will need to build yer furniture. What's written within the () are the additional materials if ya want me to make the other furniture mentioned above (mirror, throne, altar, bench). What's written within the {} is the spare, in case me or me kid do something wrong and need to fix the imperfect or broken furniture. Or, if ya wanna, I can arrange those meself.

Oak Planks x21 (+6) {+27} = 54
Ash Planks x6 (+12) {+18} = 36
Yew Planks x10 {+10} = 20
Bolts of Cottom x5 {+5} = 10

The below are needed for the mirrors, altars and throne, if ya want me to craft them too.

Pine x12 {+12} = 24

Gold Ingot x2 {+2} = 4

Ya can deliver 'em all to Guldorand. I already warned me instructor there that I'll receive some materials. 'e'll also overlook me job to make sure I can make as good use as possible of those!

If I don't use the spare, I'll send it back to ya!

All of the original materials requested having been ordered, paid for, and in most cases delivered, any faded posters are removed from bulletin boards where they've been covered over by more recent notices. Some additional orders may be placed with individual craftspersons on a private basis.
