Members old and new of the Oakmist Vale, wherever you call home:

The forest and the Grove have been devastated by a fire. While many people (the Glade included) focus on catching those who started the fire, we must put our effort into healing this holy place.

For this purpose, I send out a call to all people who have called the Grove a home or a sanctuary at some time. We need your aid. Please, bring your talents, your skills, and your love to the blessed spot and help us.

Come and ask for Anade or Malandria or send a note ahead, if you can, so that we might know what kind of aid we have available.

Mielikki's blessings on you all.

I will spend my time with the animals and the dreams of trees, as I always have. But many seem bent on retribution rather than helping those of the forest that need helping. I will do as I always do, and hope that is enough.

Ania has her children by her side as she reads the paper.

She leaves no answer.

No response is sent back from Willow. It's unknown if she ignored it or simply never saw it. But, it's hardly important since she's seen in the forest, aiding in the investigation of who committed the acts, as well as shedding water on hot spots and on vegetation that survived the fire. No planting is done though.

"I have not called the forest home for many years. My reasons for choosing to live outside of a habitat I'm more inclined to are many, but I am trying to remember this place as it welcomed me to this island so many years ago.

I'm not much with plants, but I can assist in coaxing along the reintroduction of natural predators and ensuring that the wolf packs are operating as they ought to.

Contact me in Cordor through Speedy's if you think you'll need my help.

*inclines her head at the letter before shaking it and then fingering a few oddly colored stones and bits of melted glass in her bag. as she thought to herself.

~It is a forest and such was a fire however unnatural. It is not as when the Duir was dying. A forest will heal from a fire though it will need seasons of rain to cleanse it of the poison used to burn it. Perhaps they will cleanse it? Father let them not destroy what is needed to track the thrice-cursed who did this though. It is hoped there is no push to regrow it far more quickly than the seasons would allow A rushed tree is one whose life has been shortened by half.~

Continues on, speaking with those who may yet offer some insight as well as those who simply may offer anything but is mindful to tell those who are able to aid in the forest where to go.*

A small handful of posters show up in some of the burned out areas, hung by a cord, in offering help as asked for by the letters set around by Anade and Malandria.

In seeing the extensive burning to Amia's Forest
It is hereby exteneded the offer of what aid can be provided
From Salandra's Temple to our friends of the forest

It is known that many herbal plants have been lost
As such, the Temple can offer to help gather healthy seeds
To help with the re-growth of medicinal herbs.

A whip-thin sharp-featured dark-skinned figure slips out of the deep woods during the night, moving from burnt tree to scorched boulder to fire-blackened ruin, a midnight panther at its side, threadbare cloak and worn leathers contrasting with the well-maintained bow borne over the shoulder. The piercing black eyes take in the sights in much the same manner as does the raven which flies nearby. It approaches the ruined Grove to survey the general damage, but not close enough to be challenged, and after a short while disappears back into the undergrowth. Apart from small booted footprints in the ashy earth, it leaves nothing behind.

Lorein's gaze passed the area in front of him, and his heart cried out in a thousand voices. So much life and beauty, all of it gone... Taking another step forward, he heard the sounds of paper crumbling beneath his feet. Picking up the notice likely having fallen off a nearby tree, he read it, his frown growing even deeper. With a look of resolve, he went to search for what was left of this grove.

My Lady, is this the task you bestowed upon me, or just another test?

Under the poster of this sory by the Cyrstal Node that still rests near the middle of the burned out forest, a bag is hung.

It bears inside it a handful of seeds for Feverfew, Heart of the Forest, and spore pellets for Butterfly Mushroom. A small not is tucked inside as well. "These are the seeds of the herbs I am more certain of having been lost in the fires."

A Hin, accompanied by two dire wolves, spots the bag and looks inside. She reads the little note and takes the bag down. She walks over toward the Grove entrance, handing the bag over to one of the rangers standing guard telling her to give it to one of the Arch Druids.

A letter is send to the Grove, bearing unbroken the seal of Crimson Arcanists. The handwriting is written with black ink and, though not being very beautiful, it can be easily understood when read.

Rangers and Druids of the Grove

I am wanting to inform that the Crimson Arcanists are offering finacial help of 200.000 gold coins for reconstruction of the burned bridges and other needed constructions there would be. If the money amount is not enough, we might be able to offer more for the good of the Forest. Please inform us whether or not your people would want to accept this aid.

Lady Sali Moonlight is aware of our offer already and knows how to contact me, would need be.

Crimson Arcanist
Barristan Rift

Belladonna passes through the forests on a regulr basis. Very rarely does she pause overly long in those trips as she finds little love for the Grove in these later days.

"Where were they when -we- needed them" She can be heard to ask the sleek black panther next to her as they move along the burnt out remains of the Grove and heading instead on te far longer path to find those of the Hidden Glade.

"Perhaps there is more hope for this group of defenders..." She mutters half to herself as she disappears back into the shadows.

A brief and well written note of little flourish or embelishment in it's script left near one of the postings in the woods.

To those of the grove,
While it is often considered in many times unusual for those of the orders of the cities of men to work with the circles of druids I would offer my aid as it is needed to you. I believe our gods, while possibly not always seeing eye to eye are intertwined in some manner as Lathander has never removed or sought to remove himself from the cycle of nature as the dawnbringer. I may be contacted in person durring my travels which usualy take me through the many forrests and passes of the reagon or in the chapel of Lathander in Cordor either in person or by note through one of the clergy there. If all else fails I may also daily be found bathing in the temple of love.

Signed,
Jendra Galendt, Paladin of Lathander.

EDIT: I got home and remembered I never signed the darn note.
