Anyone who was near the the nexus falls at this certain time would have heard a loud explosion and eventually saw a unnatural bright light, illuminating the surroundings.
A skilled spellcaster would easily identify this release of magical energy as a hellball.
Thoose who hurried to the location where this incident took place would find a dead elven guard.
His ears were cut off and next to his body a tooth of a big creature could be found... a broken tooth.

The elves of Winya Ravana that saw the display raised the guard and made no public comment about the incident.
Shalwyn; however, can be seeing negotiating with neighbors to protect their land in case of a full war against the attackers.
