A poster is left at the idol of Nobanion and the Valley of Shrines it reads:

To those of Nobanion's Pride....

We are far from home, but need not be far from our Pridemates. In order to spread the knowledge of our Lord Firemane better the idea of building him an idol in a more easily reached place is being discussed. If you would care to weigh in or offer your help or just connect with others of His Pride feel free to leave a note here. Or you can come find us, we are most often in the Amian Forest or at His shrine.

Jace, priest of Lord Firemane, easily distinguished by his great white wings or Kaci, lycan-blessed of Lord Firemane, short, elven, pale tawny hair. Both of us always have something marking us as one of Nobanion's Pride on if wish to speak to.

We look forward to connecting with more of His Pride and may He bless and watch over you in the meantime.

A pungent scent of hog urine has awfully stenched up this idol.

And written with a stick in the mud:

MAN PETS.

A short elf approaches the idol later with her tall aasimar at her side. Her nose twitches as it seems she notices the smell first. On seeing the words, she slashes at them with a snarl, leaving five deep furrows through them.

With a sigh, Jace starts in on cleaning the idol up, letting Kaci pace with quiet growls and snarls for a while. Finally, he'd speak up calmly once she calmed enough to climb the nearby tree.

“He's not in the stone Furball. He's in your heart. Don't let it bother you so much.”

A few minutes of silence followed from the tree, then a sigh and a quiet, “I know. You are right.”

The winged aasimar smiled warmly towards the branches where his grouchy cat hid.

“Good. Now get down here and help me finish this, Princess Buttercup.”

A quiet huff, but the short elf dropped out of the tree and padded over, helping clean as best she could. While calm once more it was clear she hadn't forgotten or forgiven the insults.
