*Tacked onto the wall by a figure shrouded in dark clothing and mystery, a simple, vague note is left. He eyed a Knight in the act of placing the note, and left no name or information with the barkeep as he left in silence* Grumpy Old Man, We've found your missing dog. How long has it even been since you've seen him last? All he does is pine for attention, which makes me believe he's been absent from your loving arms for quite some time. Roughly (Hah, get it?) two days he's been in our care, and already I can't remember how the times were without him. For future avoidance of this tragic mishap, perhaps you should put up a pen, or a fence. Though that's hardly the concern now, as I imagine you're simply dying to meet up with him again! Oh, I had nearly forgotten. Where can you find us? Now that would be too easy! |

Even if he sees a nice bitch down the street. Now, you are obviously trying to just get my goat. So, I think you should stop this harassment. Henceforth if you continue I shall not keep in you such high esteem. On a separate note, I would like to chat if you have the time. Under better circumstances I hope. Luckily I know a wonderful place that we can arrange a gathering. Do you recall the place you recommended? Why, I thought it was a splendid idea of yours. Even though I am not sure what you rally had in mind to discuss. Maybe I just missed that in the writing. Evidently my old eyes are not seeing things as clearly as I like. Eternally yours. *The reply goes unanswered, save for a single piece of editing over top the "Old Man's" post. With a charcoal pen, the second message finds ones of its sentences changed, the letters emboldened and circled numerous times in a messy, hard fashion.* The Grumpy Old Man wrote: NOW, you are obviously trying to just get my goat.

*A man dressed in dark robes posts another letter on the board* I’m glad we were able to meet. No wonder you thought it was my little as they looked so much alike. Even though yours had a missing leg and was black while mine is brown and yours was a female. Evidently you didn’t take the time to look underneath her fur to figure that one out and the obvious lack of dangling things. Do you know that for a moment I actually thought of keeping it just to give my little fellow a play toy? Tomorrow perhaps we could get the two together again to see if they are compatible or not. Only time can tell. Mostly to see if she will be a good girl and will be able to balance herself on three legs as he . . . . . . Exactly what I told you he would do when I let him off his leash, although I did lose him for a few days the last time I did that. Eventually he got hungry and found his way home. TaTa |
