*A message is heard leaving the Church of Lathander in Cordor. It goes both by written message and word of mouth. Notices are placed in appropriate spots, where written messages are forbidden clergy stand and announce the message. One could find the words in Cordor, Bendir's Dale, and Kohlingen. Runners are also sent to Wiltun, Ceyrens Mill, and Barak Runedar.* Brothers, A great shadow is cast under the sun, it is ever lengthening and now threatens to cast itself over our friends and families. This shadow is the threat of war. Where two great powers struggle, there will innocent blood be spilled. So come. Gather yourselves in the chapel of Lathander in Cordor and let us speak, and let us prepare. ~Signed Brother Lawrence Dawnbringer *Those in Cordor may notice clergy beginning to purchase food, healing supplies, and cots. These are taken and stored in the Chapel.* |

Any notices that turn up in Wiltun are taken down and replaced by a note. By Order of the Jarl, if you wish to make any postings on the island of Wiltun you are required to submit them to Seneschal Parrico to obtain his permission prior to making any such post. In His Grace's Service, ~Squire Taelar Ardelyn~ Any clergymen who start standing around the square shouting out messages are first politely told to be quiet or leave, and that if they wish to make such public declarations to do so either on a one on one basis with visitors and residents or to do it outside the fortress. They are warned that if they persist they will be forcibly removed. |

*Clergy in Wiltun move outside the city gates and speak one on one with visitors, spreading the word by mouth until they are satisfied that people know. They then leave* |

The young acolyte approached brother Lawrence with a dreamy smile on her face. "Brother? We have just had a visit from one of our brethren, newly arrived in Cordor. You weren't here. He asked me to transmit this message to you." She appeared to be blushing slightly. "I think he wants to speak to you about your announcements! And... well... I think we should invite him in to our evening supper! Or maybe... maybe he needs a guide around town! I could do that for him! I could show him some of the shops, maybe the gondolas..." The girl began to twirl around softly with her eyes closed, the smile on her face growing larger. "...and we could go to a nice place to eat, and..." She stopped suddenly, realizing where she was. "I- I mean, meet, of course. ALL... meet. All of us, because... of your announcements! I mean... if he needed one, of course. WE. Needed one." She cast a look of most adorable confusion at brother Lawrence for the briefest of moments before adding, "Uhm... I... better go." She pressed the note into his hand and traipsed quickly toward the alcove door, a light tune humming its way happily through her tender lips. Quote: Brother Lawrence,
I have word from Our Mother of Light Si'neela in Ne'sek that you may have news of the gravest import. Only newly detached to Khem, I readily received her permission to make the journey here to Cordor. I am at your disposal to discuss the situation, whatever it may be, and aid you in whatever manner possible to the limit of my abilities. I am currently staying at the inn just across the way. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Yours in the service of our Lord, Jan Singh |
