I wanted to let you know we had a little mishap in the Broken Arrow today. One of my last customers, a sorceress, wanted to give us a little entertainment before leaving. She dramatically produced an incense burner and set it to light in the tavern. While the smell was not unpleasant, it did fill the room with a fair bit of smoke and ushered away two customers.

Fortunately, I had already closed the Arrow for the day. However, an apology should be given to high marshal and his companion on their next return. The sorceress also apologized and offered 500 gold coins for her actions. I've already deposited the amount into the safe. She didn't seem to mean any harm though I've left a description of her person on the back of this note in the event she causes any future problems. ((Sumana Dibtiiri)) She did say she hailed from Kohlingen, however.

That aside, I wanted to leave a suggestion. I believe we should look into having a lavatory added to the broken arrow. I realize we are in Cordor but think we should aim for an ever higher standard. Further, as the Broken Arrow is a place for people to gather and converse, a lavatory is essential! We don't want to give our customers reasons to leave.

Solus gives a sigh as he uncaps an inkwell and begins to scrawl a note addressed to Kaytie and Samrael. Even though the tavern is currently closed, it is rather difficult to write with the room currently filled with smokey incense. We don't want to give our customers reasons to leave. Respectfully, Solus Once finished, he gives the parchment a moment to dry before slipping it into the safe with the rest of the day's earnings. He then waits for the incense to finally burn out before closing and bolting up the windows. He cleans up as best as he can before retrieving his cloak. The Broken Arrow would still faintly smell of holy incense.

Notice posted in the Log Thank you Solus, I'll speak with the Minister of Health and see what lavatory services are available for installation. We may need to store our barrels in another room for the time being. -S
