Enchantment: The Production and Maintenance of Magical Items
A lecture by Corinn Aldaine, to be hosted at the Seven Stars Academy in Kohlingen on the second evening of Tarsakh.
An evening lecture and discussion of magical items, their manufacture, and unusual ways of creating magical artifacts with unique properties.
Tea and Scones will be provided for all attendees.
Including topics from:
- Enchantment: Fundamentals
- Enchantment of Mundane Items
- Enchantment: Production of Artifacts
As well as an overview of sympathetic magic.
Please come prepared to discuss the topics, as participation by attendees is encouraged.
Some suggested questions for attendees (be sure to have your own answers to these prepared!):
- What form of enchantment do you consider most effective? Why?
- What is Permanency, and why is it useful?
- Describe a situation in which enchanters of more than one magical discipline will need to work on a magical item.
- How has enchanting helped you in your everyday life?
- What is sympathetic magic, and how does it work?
