The Living Guard is now accepting applications to join their esteemed ranks. The creed of the Living Guard is simple: maintain order, protect the Living City, protect its inhabitants, and protect the knowledge within its walls. Enrollment in the Living Guard can provide ample opportunities to obtain both rare knowledge and personal power. The High Captain of the Living Guard will consider all applications from a wide variety of skill sets. You may submit an application with the following information directly to Living Guard Office (PM) in Tarkuul.

By submitting this application for review, you give permission to the current Commanding Officer of the Living Guard and the Voice of Tarkuul to review the information contained herein and investigate the validity of history, intent, and capability. By submission, you agree to the above and also forfeit any and all right to rebuke any of the information contained within the application. This information will be kept confidential to ensure the applicant's information is not compromised.

Payment by ranking is as follows:

-CENTURION- 30,000/week
The Centurions are entrusted with further responsibilities and as such are given the highest salary of any contracted member of the Living Guard.

-WATCHER- 20,000/week
The Watchers are the rank and file of the Living Guard, they are to uphold the Laws of the Living City and maintain the peace. As such, their payment is higher than that of initiate.

-INITIATE- 10,000/week
The Initiates are not full members of the Living Guard, but rather possible recruits who are under review. As such, their payment is at the lowest bracket of any member of the Living Guard. Initiates taking well to the guard can expect not to stay in this bracket or rank very long.

Those interested in finding more information on the Guard before applying may either seek it out in the Living City or leave a message for the High Captain.

Comes in to check the board on a recent bid her eyes catching a glimpse of the notice.

Actually no she doesn't because there is no way for someone -anyone- to be able to sit and watch a noticeboard and who pays attention to it or especially guessing what the passers by are reading. NPC's. however, could at least be there trying to discern what someone is reading but thats another matter entirely.

//Please don't post OOC stuff on here. Seeing who looks interested in Kampo's storehose, especially with the fact that the place is within walking distance of the shrine and is literally less than a mile from her own home at that point.

Once again, the High Captain posts new notices, though he seems to be catching on that word of mouth is where most of his candidates come from.

Gerald can be seen making his rounds, updating the postings and, for his part, trying to display an active presence in the region. Those seeing him might notice that he seems rather more tired than usual. Something weighs heavily on the Captain's mind, and it seems he will need to be dealing with it soon.
