Lord Cory Shadowflame, Thane of Caraigh, would like for the citizens to better protect themselves. One way for you to do this, and keep yourself at a distance, is by the use of a bow. Lord Cory has enlisted the help of a local ranger, who will be providing training in the use of this ancient and elegant weapon. The human man, known as Crow, will be available to you, for instruction. You may seek him out in his home at Scath Crann, Ceyren's Mill, or points between, on the island.

This is not mandatory, but on volunteer basis, for those who wish to better protect their families and friends. Crow will help you find a bow that suits you best, if you do not already have one. Upon completion of the basic training, you will receive a few 'special' arrows, one of which is blessed, for use against the undead that roam the island. These arrows can be copied and stored.

Please consider this, as a means of self defense, if anything. Bows are light, easy to carry and maintain. They can be very deadly in the right hands, and keep you at a distance from threats to you and your family.
