*The surprisingly well-written letter would read, once it reaches any one of the head druids in the grove,*
Hello. This is a message from Frugdar, wondering if he can ask for assistance.
Frugdar, Son of Bjorgen, is likely not popular in your eyes... He is not popular around the island, for the fights he gets into. I am Frugdar, and although many get into fights with me and try to instigate them, I also pursue combat as a type of lifestyle. I am not an evil man. I simply love the thrill, the rush, of combat, and the strength it provides.
I also love wildlife - though I see a side to it most others do not. I will never cut down a living tree, as I am Uthgardt. But in wildlife, I see not a beautiful painting that must be preserved, but as a changing world that must be enjoyed at the moment, because soon it will be gone - and that is not a bad thing. Change is good. A chaotic, changing life, is one that does not stagnate. Frugdar does hunt animals, but uses them - not waste.
There is one animal I wish to learn more of. The bear. The bear has been a creature I've been enamored with since I was a child. At 14 I met a bear when I was passing my ritual rites in the Uthgardt Griffon Tribe in the northern isles, near the Moonshae. I accidentally stumbled upon it's home, and the black bear had attacked me - I was blessed by Uthgar then. The bear honored me by fighting me. I had to fight it or become it's meal. Climbing trees... Using large branches or rocks to my advantage. Eventually the bear got tired and I got on it's back and... Well. I learned what it meant to be a warrior that day.
But I also learned what savagery and beauty, together, looked like: The Bear.
I have heard legends since I was younger, slightly older than when I fought the bear in the wilderness, of men capable of transforming into these amazing beasts during the rush of combat. Bear Warriors they were called. Frugdar wishes to learn to become one of these legendary heroes of combat... To learn of the savage spirit of the bear. The beauty. The cuddliness, and yet the ferocity. Frugdar needs to commune with bear spirits. Learn of the aching need inside to become one with them... This is more than Frugdar has done before, and Frugdar needs the help of the druids to do it.
Can Frugdar please have the help of the druids in learning, and communing with, the bear spirits, to become a bear warrior?
- Frugdar, Son of Bjorgen, Uthgardt
*It is likely he had help writing the message, given it's advanced vocabulary.*
