Pinned to one of the trees in the Silent Bay is a single leaflet, with a written message: "Return my sister at once. If in three days, she is not in my custody, her captors will be punished to the utmost severity. Dear Sister-- you know better. Do not disappoint the family. Do not disappoint me. Deliver yourself, or there will be consequences." The letter is unsigned. |
