Barak Runedar's Coin Festival

Vendors, Merchants, Craftsmen, Artisans, and All Potential Customers!

Honorable folk of the Amian Isles, friends, and allies, Barak Runedar is proud to officially announce the arrival of the citadel's next Coin Festival! Join us at the citadel to honor Vergadain by attending the Coin Festival, enjoying good company, better brews, and the highest quality items for sale and auction. Come haggle with the merchants and vendors for your best deal, in these deeds and attending, you give honor to Vergadain, the Merchant King.

This year promises to be unlike any other Coin Festival to date! We have registrations from settlements like Winya Ravana and Cordor. We have several bardic personnel preparing to entertain and wow with spectacle and prowess. We will have the Flamboyant Merchant Djinn himself, Paimon, and his elemental doer of deeds, the bubbly Gale, with us to sell and auction his exotic wares.

The brewery has been on high rotation! The kitchen's been prepping various food stuffs for the dwarven fare to be enjoyed! Every nook and crease in the citadel has been cleaned and polished! The Great Hall to play host to kin, friends, and the masses alike, all that's missing is you!

In addition to Barak Runedar citizens and vendors who show the day of the event, the following fine folks and cities will be present to provide to you their services, stock, and skills for your shopping pleasure and entertainment.

~Barak Runedar Council

// The event takes place at 15:00 GMT Sunday, December 14th. It starts an hour later than the normal Council Meetings to give some setup time. Registered vendors, make prior arrangements, or try and show up a bit early to claim your spaces!! For clarification when you come to sell your goods and items, Barak Runedar as of right now does not have openable vendor booths like in Cordor's Merchant Hall. Your interactions will be face to face with all potential customers and sales with the items on your person, or one of the Djinn's fine chests would work wonderfully. This event IC is to teach folks of Vergadain and to bring honor and blessings to the Merchant King and the benefit of the citadel. OOCly this event is an opportunity to gather together for fun and player generated RP, for the enjoyment of the server and players. IC restrictions always apply at Barak Runedar! And, we of course always love for our DMs to attend on either client, come join us for some fun! I hope to see a large crowd on Sunday! Thanks all.

2 Days left for Pre-Registration!!

Team up with a friend and run a booth together if you wish, or obtain your own space to work out of. Come sell your produce, your cheeses, your wines. Crafters and artisans are welcome to ply their trade and sell their goods. Are you a painter? Set up a small gallery of your artwork available for purchase. This is your chance to make some coin, and get your name out there for future business.

Once again our friends, if you Pre-Register before the deadline, you will be placed upon the final Coin Festival poster advertising your goods and/or services the week before the festival. Fear not procrastinators! The festival is open for honorable folk to attend and acquire space to trade from at any time throughout its duration.

If you have any questions whether your trade would be permissible or not, feel free to contact High Councilor Reddok BloodAxe via letter to the Barak Runedar citadel.

*Reddok makes his rounds and checks the stack of Pre-Registrations, he stares at the Djinn's registration a minute. And looks to the Warden...*

See, even this fellow can follow simple rules an guidelines if plainly stated. This should make things interesting to say the least.

A flyer is added to each of the posters.

Last day before the Coin Festival! Tomorrow upon the appointed hour, join us for the event of the season. Be apart of this exposition of commerce and trade. Witness for yourself the wonders of the dwarven halls in their glory, playing host to the Amian Isle's finest artisans, crafters, and merchants, all in one place!

For the the first time in our Coin Festival's history, with hopes of a brighter future for Cordor, the Cordorian Merchants and Associated Traders will ply their wares. Another first, everyone's favorite exotic merchant, Paimon the Djinn, will also be in attendance doing well to lighten the populace's coin purses. I have heard many of the registered vendors, and soon to be attendees speak of many items wishing to be auctioned.

Come enjoy our dwarven fare! Good food, fine brews, and make sure you save some coin for the auctions!
