Attention island of Amia! Last year a tournament was held by an individual known as Quickdraw. The tournament was nearly exactly one year ago, and had a large fee to join, and the winner won half of the money made by the tournament.
This year a new tournament is taking place, in the Cordorian Arena in West Cordor, to mark the occasion of the last tournament! the rules will be as follows:
- There will be NO entry fee.
- The prize will be a secret until the end of the tournament. It will be of great material worth.
- There will be no hiding of any kind (including supernatural or magical forms of concealment), at all, at any point during the tournament, even by bystanders or those not participating. Hiding at all at any point for any reason will cause you to forfeit and not be enrolled in the tournament.
- There will be no magic of any kind, scroll, wand, supernatural abilities, or so forth, except for purely martial abilities (battle rage, knocking someone down, or the like), however, there will be one Mind Blank potion drunk at the beginning of every match, to ensure a fair fight. Potions -and only potions- may be drunk whilst the fight commences. The only limitation is that True Strike potions are not allowed.
- There will be no healing during the match between the two contenders.
- Leaving the arena pit for any reason, even accidental, means you forfeit the match.
- Again, NO wizardry, sorcery, mystical or divine magics, supernatural abilities, wands, scrolls, or other insundry items that produce any magical spell-like effect, are allowed at any point during the match, with the sole exception of potions as noted above.
This is purely for warriors and those who wish to test themselves in the art of martial combat. Archers are allowed to join, but it might not be a very fair fight.
