Those of keen eyesight or wayward direction might notice an Elven woman wearing greens and browns passing through the town of Guldorand and into the Timberlands. She spends much time checking for signs along worn paths. She also looks to the trees for evidence of recent trimming or cutting. Certain trees receive special attention as she takes note of the telltale signs a trained lumberjack was present at some point in recent months. The cuts are made in such a way as to not harm the tree, but to promote growth and yet still yield usable wood. The woman remains silent, creeping slowly through the forested areas, stopping to touch the ground or a tree branch here and there. She seems to be following a path. On the way, she spots some adventurers, and gives a light groan, hoping they don't spoil the trail she is following. She remains out of their sight. The occasional worg and other creature does take notice of her and she quickly dispatches them and disposes of the bodies, leaving no trace. Her search brings her to a small clearing on a cliff ledge overlooking the valley below. She finds signs of people having been here, though faint, meaning months ago. The wind and rain have washed away most of the evidence, but... some stones stained with red, ever so slightly, catch her attention. She spends an entire day scouring the area, finding small bits of lacquered wood scattered in the vicinity. These have obviously been worked by sentient hands, but, to what end, she is not sure. She gathers them up and carefully puts them into a bag. After an exhaustive search, she silently stalks through the trees, bow in hand. After just a few moments, she draws the bow up, arrow nocked, then releases. The arrow flies true, striking it's target... a rabbit, presumably her dinner. After a few moments, the prey is gathered up, and brought back near the edge of the woods, where it is skinned, and prepared for cooking. As night falls, she builds a camp not far into the woodline, after making a trek in a large circle around her camp, occasionally kneeling to place something on the ground. She then curls up, her fire's coals slowly burning down throughout the night as she nods off to sleep. |

Along the path would be a some what trampled terrain that leads in to the deeper parts of the woods. As if some one or something traveled these lands quite often. Upon closer inspection there would be several small trails that lead to various sections of the wood. In the evening on full mooned nights the sounds of a lone would maybe heard in the distance- something not like the many worg that now inhabit the land. |
