"Honorable Keepers/To whom it may concern,
These creatures were found feasting upon the life force of several of the creatures in the woods . There were three that were noted and taken down by one of your rangers . I believe he was called "Crow" . How they got here exactly was'nt determined "specifically" . However a speaker was with him at the time and she spoke to the wilds , what she was told was rather distressing. It seems the creatures were tearing open rifts or another was opening and then thrusting them through to feast upon the life in the wilds. Each creature was carrying an orb of sorts with the life force that was stolen once broke it infused it's self within the nearest creature. At least that is a theory , as it happened when one of the war knights broke an orb purely in accident. Which also leads to the next matter , they were draining the life force from those the struck sapping them of their will and I can only guess storing it . There also was an ooze that lingered about them before being slain yet once they were slain it left them . It was advised by a dwarf that was there to use the wax upon the canvas due to the effects direct contact with them was having . As for the creatures I can imagine this wont be the last that will be seen of them likely see them becoming a danger to the wilds , livestock , and travelers if measures are'nt taken.
