Later this month we are hosting a Coin Festival within the hold to honour the Merchant King, Vergadain, but also to bring prosperity to the hold and to celebrate the crafting practices of not only Dwarven-kind, but our friends and allies around the isles. All who are allowed within the Hold's walls are welcome and the following shall be seen upon this day.

Merchant Stalls and Floor space - Merchant Stalls and floorspace shall be available for merchants and craftsmen to make use of. However, space is limited, and I would ask that all who would wish for space to make it known in advance. There will be a small rental fee for stalls and shop, amounting to 200gp per square yard, or part there of. If you wish to come and share in our prosperity, please make sure you book ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

Auction - Each of our coin festival has had a central auction. Most years this has been fairly open as to the Goods which have been auctioned. However this year we will be trying something else. Each Item auctioned will be a unique item, crafted by Dwarven Hands as a celebration of the crafts of our people. These pieces are guaranteed to be exquisite examples of their craft, and their like will never be seen again, each item truly unique and worthy of collectors.

Competition - This is the first event of its kind in our hold, a competition of artists and craftsmen. Think your work is the best in the isles? Why not put that to the test against other craftsmen in this, the first competition of Craftsmen. You will have until the beginning of the Auction upon the day of the coin festival itself, to present your piece upon which your piece will be judged alongside others by a panel of Elders and Master craftsmen within the hold. Those who are judged the best will be awarded will win trophies to match their achievement, and the best overall will receive a Warrant of Royal appointment from King Whurak Thunderhammer in addition to his trophy. Entrance fee is 5000 gold pieces.
