Post subject:  [IC] An Open Letter

Multiple copies of this letter are produced and sent out to various notices boards and centers of Governance in Cordor, Shadowscape, L'Obsul, Thran'daariv, the Barony of Fogwood, and Belnoth.

City-States and Citizenry of the Trackless Sea,

You are greeted by the Enclave of Tarkuul in a time of change and growth.

For the past two years those visiting the Living City have been met with a dead silence; a simply lack of opportunity or approachable avenues to advance your ends here. No more.

The Living City opens its doors to you. The Living Guard calls for warriors seeking gold and the power that comes with ambitious service. Plunder and victory await you as the arm of Onyxtarashmus. The Magisterium seeks arcanists to peruse the deeper mysteries of the Weave and train the newest generation of arcanists in our ancient halls. You will be the forebears of a new tradition. Those who come to the Living City with ambitions and the drive to see them will find power drawn to them like a moth to a candle.

To our allies, trade partners, and friends: The Living City will meet it's commitments to you under my hand.

To those who have not had the opportunity to to open relations, my office is open and we may speak on terms; I await you here in my office.

In service to the Living City,
Gerald Edmund
Speaker of Tarkuul

Budly Bundly, the ex a bunch of things and of no concern beside being annoying to most people, Hin suddenly stopped as he noticed the sign upon the placard. Reading it he was suprised to see Tarkuul in movement again. He uttered a simpled

F***

As he was reading it over. To him, it was a bad sign that Tarkuul was moving again, Say what you wanted of the old voice but either they act behind the curtains or he was not that half bad if they kept to themself. The name Gerald Edmund, also suprised him. This den of evil now lead by this man?

A more than normally beautiful elven appearing woman with black hair can be seen re-reading the posting. She seems to be wearing black and burgandy in some sort of uniform. She gives a wry grin and goes on her way.

A woman, in completely black clothes, with a mask, and no way to tell her identity might be seen watching one of the notices in Cordor, apparently watching it, or the people reacting to it. However, she would not show any real reactions, no matter what would be done to or near the posting. If anyone would talk to her, she would show, in rather immaculate common, that she has no interest in talking to anyone.

A moustached man reads the sign at the barony of fogwood.
He takes a minute to ponder the idea, nods and then walks back to his house at Endir's Point.

A svirfneblin holding a pickle on a stick looks at the notice, wipes away a tear, and smiles.

"Father... I'm prince of the city!"

He then jumps into a nearby wastebasket.

After reading the letter in Shadowscape, a man dressed in black and red scale tabard laughs out loud, flicks a cigarette butt to his side and opens a portal, vanishing only Gods know where...
