Leisure & Activities
Greetings! We are happy to announce our games resort 'The Wanderer's Wayside', the gates now open for all. Enjoy the delights of the natural oasis or make use of the resort's leisure area, including Sullivan's bar and a general lounging area. We hope to hold events including, but not limited to, capture the flag, auctions, treasure hunts, gambling nights, quiz nights and more games as we continue to build and invent new ideas.

Laws
We want everyone to enjoy their time in the resort, though we don't want to have to tell anyone to keep the peace. It goes without saying to use your common sense. Do not bring or summon undead, aberration or infernal/abyssal creatures into the resort. Harassment towards guests and faction members will not be tolerated. Any issues may result in you being tossed out or banned. By entering, you reserve the right for Rosary and Sullivan to pass judgement as they see fit. The laws are subject to change if we encounter emerging issues.

Membership
We seek those who can aid with creative ideas, offer good business deals, volunteer in creating and planning events and anyone who genuinely supports the general initiative.

Directions
Our resort is located at the south of Khem. To get to Khem, you can start from Nes'ek either by A) taking the portal from Wiltun or B) turn the lamp lens yellow at the Triumvir. Follow the road south to Hasrabet then to Djedet. At Djedet, take the southern caravan leading to Khalem and finally walk south to reach the destination!

Capture the Flag

We have two mini-forts for 'Capture the Flag' events. The aim of this game is to retrieve a flag of your opponents' team and bring it back to your team's base. Get creative and use the natural environment, ballistas and the obstacles we've provided to form offensive/defensive tactics!

Setting up
1. Split into two teams and go to your team's base.
2. You are given time to prepare. During this time, each team is given 3-5 flags to set down on their own base so the other team can retrieve them.
3. Once preparation time is up, you can begin the game.

General Rules
1. You're not allowed to spy on your opponents' team during preparation time.
2. When retrieving the opponents' team flag, you MUST holster the flag on your back when returning it back to your base. Instead of picking up a flag from an unconscious ally, you have to go to your opponents base to retrieve another one (which is why each team must set a number of flags in their own base during preparation time so that the other team can retrieve them).
3. You cannot hide or sneak when carrying your opponents' flag and you cannot be under the effects of ethereal when carrying them (this includes haven and greater sanctuary)
4. Flying and 'Shadow Jumping' are allowed.
5. Potions, scrolls, traps and other gadgets are allowed but we will not compensate you for using them.
6. Using barricades, or other objects and spell walls to block an area is banned.
7. No acts of killing
8. Do not cast hellball!
9. If you're participating in these events please do not go to Sully's lounging area and bar, we hope to keep that area tidy and safe for those not participating.

All-Out Capture the Flag
This is where both teams try to get the opponent's team flag simultaenously in one game. The first team to have an opponents flag in their own base wins.

Turn-Based Capture the Flag
For a less chaotic and structured game, where both teams take turns to capture the flag whilst the other team defends. A capturing team loses the round if they fail to bring the opponent's team flag back to their base or the whole party is taken out.

Wilfire may be seen spending too many time on the area, specially on the huge cliffs on it.

He keeps doing several climbing and jumping exercises on the area and looks very content with it.

Fat Arse

We have an area for the game 'Fat Arse'. Several chairs are placed in a row and each player has one chair. Players take turns with an attempt to break their opponents' chair. The player with their chair left standing is the winner. There are two versions of 'Fat Arse'.

General Rules
1) Chairs = Number of players are set up in a row.
2) Slings and bullets are provided. All players must use the same sling and ammunition to break the opponent's chairs.
3) If you fire more than once on your turn, you miss out on the next number of turns of additional fires.

Luck Fat Arse
Players use dice to determine which chair they have to hit. This could result in a player breaking their own chair.

Grudge Fat Arse
Players choose whose chair they will hit. A gae of loyalties, betrayal and tactics!

New Renovations and Celebrations!

We are happy to announce the Shimmering Oasis has been renovated. Enjoy the new beverages that are supplied, trading stands for merchants and the various props for gaming activities. We also have new towers, obstacles, and ballistas for capture the flag games! To celebrate these new changes, we will be running a raffle on three prizes (belt of the stone giant, bracers of the gem golem, a million gold) accompanied by several sessions of capture the flag. Simply join the activities on the day to be entered!

This will take place on the 17th Eleasis!
