- Placed up prominently in the Town Hall, and on the Noticeboard in the Hin Inn, is the following simple poster:
As the new Event Planner, it falls to me to ensure that any celebrations in the Dale go off smoothly, and to that end, I am suggesting that we celebrate Midsummer collectively, as is fitting!
I am hoping to arrange food, drink, and entertainment, and would love to hear from any Residents and good friends who wish to contribute or simply to attend and enjoy!
Hopefully, the Evening of the first day of Flamerule, but I am asking first how many of us can be present on that day, before I advertise more widely.

I know that is far from being the proper date, but it's best to have it on a weekend, so thats as good as any other date I could set on a Friday or a Saturday. I was hoping that making it Midnight onwards would mean that some of the Brit's and Euro's might be able to make it, without excluding some of the Transatlanteans by being too early, but for them that can't, like you, it's a pity, but is probably about the best compromise we can manage.

Heh.. that's like 9 in the morning for me. Doable until I find some steady work. It's hard for me to definitely commit to anything as I'm picking up an odd job here and there, but am mostly open. Of course anything I agree to is subject to change upon gainful employment

The dulcet sounds of a new voice echo through Bendir. “What’r’ya born in a barn?! Close the gate after ya.” And “Take yer helm off, cannot ya read?” and “There be no talkin’ of stabbin that fella here or I’ll be gettin’ involved and we don’t want that.”
Directed to tallers needing reminders of proper behavior in the lovely town of Bendir. The 3foot, red haired, green eye’d gal shaking her finger at the ill mannered would smile at the properly mannered and other Hin. She’d say her name was Kisten and ask about a certain brother of hers that was deposited on the isle from the ship named “Raider”.

The Windmill these days has a damaged blade, causing it to have a bit of trouble with milling. Further more, five lightstones are set and lit atop the roof of the building.

An upset Kisten leaves a note for the Mayor.
Dear Mayor,
Seems some human female mage has a liking for settin her black panther upon folks inside Bendir town itself. She’d be tall, human, female, wearin a dress and carryin a staff. Colors bein sorta cream like, not quite cows milk, oh, maybe cows milk with a touch o mud.
Anyway, I was standin a goodly distance talking to the panther, that there mage ownin it gets all upset and all sudden-like that panther jumped over and tried ta scratch and take a bite outta my hide.
I had ta react quick like and afore I knew it, that panther was a-lyin on the ground and me axe’d be all covered in blood.
That mage up and vanished. Kex helped ta clean up and I put some o those nice Sharren bath crystals into the mud so it’d smell all nice.
