Traditionally to venerate 'The Irrepressible Scamp', the Summer Solstice Festival is a masquerade ball, so dress up in your best costume! It is filled with stories and song, food and drink, and riddles and pranks are the rules. There will be a 'tell a joke' entry for a chance to win a grand prize! Expect a surprise riddle which may uncover something grand for a winner. We are hoping to hold this sometime in the next tenday or so. The invitation extends towards citizens and guests alike, as long as you're welcomed into the town gates.

Hugh showed up, walking in and nodding to friends and others alike. Feeling a bit out of place in Bendir Dale central, he took a seat.

During the festivities, he went through a bit of childishness (very uncommon to those that knew him): clapping, cheering, laughing and giggling. Afterward, he could be seen by the locals talking with Rosary in more earnest before making his way out

Valkas would have spent most of the time he showed up talking in a hushed voice and in Hin-Tongue with Rico, only offering his usual smirk and dark humour to others when directly addressed but otherwise keeping a serious expression on his face...

After the whole ordeal with the fake Dragons, he vanished from sight.
