I, Aoth Nathandem, Scrivener of Djedet and mage of house Tholaunt request your permission to close the portal linking both the isle of 'Amia' in the far west beyond the sword coast amidst the trackless seas, and our humble region. I ask this of you due to the threat levels of those we do not desire within our great lands having such easy access to it. As you may be aware, the town of Guldoran on Amia has been razed and presently there is a power struggle between leadership. Also present is the threat of oppression from a group of Banites over the area. I, for one, do not wish to risk the possibility of them taking over Guldorand and then endangering the Khem region.
