Starting in the morning, and throughout the remainder of the day, one man might be witnessed helping out the less-fortunate citizens of Cordor. A large sum of a hundred thousand gold is donated to the Orphanage, the beggars are given a hot meal, a hot drink and a new set of clothes and blankets to protect themselves. The man also hands the same beggars a smaller pouch of gold (no more than 250gp) to them, and gives a verbal blessing to them at the graces of Lathander, asking to spend the coin how they see fit, so long as they thank Lathander for the generosity of his faithful.

Before leaving them, he also takes a moment to speak with each one of them, asking how it is they've fallen on hard times. He offers for them to visit the Chapel of Lathander to ward them from the horrid weather that Cordor continuously suffers from.

With the sun setting, the man returns to the chapel, and prays.

A bald, gaunt woman that leaned heavily on an ashen cane had some cynical words to say at the generous man when he made his rounds in South Cordor:

"You're not quite impoverished yet; keep going."

Once again the dedication of that same man is seen throughout Cordor again as the rain sets in across the city. He invites those who do not have shelter from the rain to the Chapel of Lathander in Cordor East along with the promise of food and plenty of drink.

Throughout the city, an open invitation is left on the noticeboards for all of Cordors citizens to also attend the festivities...

As the "do-gooder" goes about his business, a particular poor specimen continues to rest unawares and uneasily with its painful burden, enduring the downpour in hopes of attracting the attention of some coin within the cities less attractive district.
