Forum:

Hi, I'm new here and I was thinking about an Orog as my first Character on Amia :) . So, since I am a great fan of the Infinity Engine and played both the Icewind Dale and the Baldurs Gate Saga I tried to rebuild the Orog armors from those games, which was not easy at all. So why am I posting this...yes, if anyone of you guys wants to join my Orog party we could possibly play all 4 models at the same time :D. I'm not sure about the 4th one (Shaman-Model), was pretty hard to remake.

Shaman would probably be a Battlebard since Orogs aren't rly good Clerics

Like Bard/DC/Druid for (I'd like to play this build , will have to improve the shaman model somehow :( )

For the other Orogs:

Bard/DC/RDD Dever
Barb/DC/Bard
Barb/BG/Bard

For Teamplay:
Shaman Dispells, Curses, Heals and Buffs and Taunts
One of the Barb uses Terrifying Rage
Dever well dev crits

Ah yes any Hobgoblins like Monk/Fighter/Assassin and further Hobgoblins are welcome to the party but please try to stay Infinity and use a Bow ;)
For the Orog Weapons well Scimmitar is ok, Bastardsword looks more like in Infinity and Greatsword does not look bad at Chieftan and yes shields are allowed. For Shaman hmmm I am not sure cause Mornignstar sucks :( . Maybe Warhammer will do it so yes thats another Problem with the Shaman.

For the roleplay I haven't figured out yet but due to the Orogs and Hobgoblins nature I reccon we gonna be bandits later on (higher lvls only or we wont get far ;) )

Another Possibility would be to make good Orogs with Paladin Builds but well...maybe they have been enchanted by a red Dragon or sth ;)

Now take a look at the Orogs and feel free to comment or to improve the outlook :D

Hello and welcome to Amia.

I hope you enjoy the server, its one the DMs, designers, devs and players have done tons in order to make it better.

I wanted to gives some helpful feedback on your post here...

1.) Requests section is normally reserved for requests being made to the DMs
2.) This is a neat idea, but all so rather scripted, scripted things tend not to make it very long.
3.) You are new and excited and seem to want to make an impact and I hope you the best of luck but its hard to build a fad idea around the "cult of a personality" when nobody knows you from Adam.

4.) Icewind Dale and the Infinity Engine fucking rock.

Look into the club, specifically the "nail bat" appearance. I cant remember what monster had one of those but it looks very sexy on Amia.

An Underdark Orog population would be pretty damn cool. Should work well with recent attempts to encourage interaction between Drow and other Underdark races.

I like the idea IronAngle :D !

They could live of muhrooms and make deals with the drow and move to the surface only to to take over other orc tribes and rob poor adventurers if they weren't dumb enough to go down into the Underdark ardy ;) ...

To see some more orogs around L'Obsul would be great. A few of us started a trade / mercenary faction a bit over a week ago and so far it has been a lot of fun and going very well.

Not gonna lie when I first saw this I misread it as Infinity Orgy party.

That said, welcome to Amia! Meet people! Have fun! Don't get arrested in Wiltun!

While I am a proponent of using the duller, more mundane colors from the palette on NWN clothing for the sake of looking reasonable, I also think there are certain exceptions to that idea, namely the Underdark. I think the perfect means of being part of that alien atmosphere is using vivid, more fantastical color combinations that even when tastefully done, results in something of a cacophony of hues.

The best part is NWN's developers seem to agree with me, if you check out the vanilla drow armors and vanilla drow static models and portraits in the toolset.
