So since the Amia wiki was down I was using the Forgotten realms one for geography and basic racial information and my prior knowledge from playing halflings, forgetting we had a Lore topic in the Bendir Dale Subforum

Well according to FR wiki hin are about 3'10-4'2 weighing somewhere in the 70s-80 range (most commonly 75-85)

But the Lore thread on Bendir Sub Forum says they stand at about 3 feet tall and weigh about 30 lbs which seems pretty much the weight of a 3 year old girl.

I know hin are small but I would've pegged them in my mind to be around 3'-4' and closer to half an adult humans weight moreso than 1/5th of it.

What is the CORRECT description though. As of now my Bio says my hin is about 70 lbs which is pretty much morbidly obese going by the subforums topic, but below average going by FR.

Amia has traditionally used the Players Handbook height and weight charts, which are significantly different. FR elves are a lot taller than Amia elves, too.

Unfortunately all of my source books were downloaded on my other computer, so the Player's handbook says 3' 30 lbs?

FR has a lot of 4ed stuff in it, which may have updated the races too. The monster manuals/player handbook of 3rd edition put halflings at what Liz said, though, I believe.

Alright, I know to be careful on FR's wiki about what year and everything the events and changes in geography happen in. Just didn't think the height weight of hin would be a thing they changed, but thanks for telling me otherwise!

I'll update my Bio on any hin players that have the wrong proportions.

Halflings aren't hobbits. D&D has been kind of trying to spin them in other directions for a while now, giving us the quasi-gypsy Lightfoot nomad culture and the druidy-mystical Ghostwise. Hin aren't the pudgy beard-footed homebody gluttons that Tolkien invented anymore, and really haven't been since 2nd Edition.
