All my other servers are connecting as normal herr Chicken with no IP redirects. I use NWNcx and I can connect to everything normally and their IP's match in the history tab.

I just checked out three other servers on this list and all the IP match the server details in History Tab. I still can't logon though at least not to Amia I can other servers.

Damn you Disco... That lock could have waited five more minutes.

I'm more curious as to why you appear to have two hosts, 185.29.203.11 and 185.29.203.8. Thats not supposed to happen unless you where explicitly assigned two hosts or a subnet.

Tried it all, nothing works for me. (last time I've tried 5 mins ago).
The serwers are greyed, nothing more showed after trying direct connect.

I just installed NWNCX and now have servers in my internet tab. I can connect to any I've tried, but Amia doesn't appear in the list. I can't Direct Connect to it either with any of the IP's thats been posted.

I have noticed that another server in my favorites and history is also greyed out. It was there yesterday, I even went in game ...for a half hour, the boredom killed it for me.
Server is Narc's Bonds of Blood CH2, for reference. Narc's TotSD CH1 seems to be fine.

Check the IP. The port number should be 5121-5129

Other servers seem to be fine Disco.

Something is well fucked up. I had no problems connecting via History tab yesterday, today both Amia A and B disappeared, but I can still play on my PC (I usually use laptop) as they exist in History tab.

The best part is when I copy server IP I get on my PC and try it on laptop, it doesn't work. Both computers use the same network.

Once you have done this guys/gals, highlight the server you want that just appeared and on the bottom click server details and take note of the PORT that is being listed. Everyone is going to have different ports, so you must do this in order to get in right now. I have PM'd multiple friends with this method and all got in using it.

Not a single method is working at all for me.

Well, me too. I sent another mail to the hoster with that question a few hours ago. Still no reply. I'll see what happens tomorrow and start looking for a new hoster if this bullshit continues.

If you change hosters how much are you expecting it to cost. I have kind of a limited income but would definitely kick in if it came down to it. PM me if you don't want to talk about it in the open forum.

Likewise, I wouldn't mine kicking in a bit for the server as needed.

Oh yeah, still not having any luck getting in. This mess about checking the server details for the port is not working. The only thing it tells me is the 11:5121 that has been there forever. Am I doing this wrong?

Yeah it sucks ass. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just me and Sith but we have the little ones to worry about. The fucked up part is that I have a good job. Unfortunately its a contract job so the douchebag boss pays me when he feels like it. I haven't seen a dime in three weeks. He owes me 1100 as of today. Luckily it's Friday so the landlord can't do anything until Monday so won't see a pay/quit til at least Tuesday. We had to scramble and get a few bucks from my parents to pro rate staying here through today already. Then of course with the whole gov. BS our foodstamps didn't come in. Yeah, I get foodstamps but at least I have a job and not sitting on my ass collecting welfare. So I have 20 bucks I'm holding onto to buy more Ramen if it comes down to it. Waiting to see if NM will expedite emergency funds. And on top of that we have no phone. Life is a mess right now lol. I can't even cry anymore :/

in theory, posting 185.29.203.8:5986 in Direct Connect will somehow magically make the servers appear. Then, when (if) they do, click them and click "Server details" and it will give you what IP and Port it is -actually- using, and you can save that to Favourites, then it won't vanish.

It doesn't work for me,it may not work for you.

tried it yesterday. didnt work. i already have them in my favorites. Unless I literally have to change it in the .ini file?

Yeah just tried adding it manually in the .ini file. Doesn't work that way either.

If anyone wants to give me a base mod I can host in the mean time so folks can get in until this is situated. Can be a time for random RPing. Can time bubble it or alt reality it. Whatever. Just an idea.

Maybe everyone should just stop running around like headless chickens, posting every full baked or half baked log in attempt and IP and let us just shut Amia down till the chicken WITH a head gets it sorted.

I'm sure we can all manage a few days without Amia. In the mean time you can all do something really helpful. Use all those hours of free time to get out of the house, and earn some money to donate.

Calming down sounds good. That said, Hadeis, there's no need to be so pretentious about it; not everybody has the same wealth of free time you seem to have. I, for one, would just like to spend some time between reports on Amia with its community.

Oh I'm not donating (not to sound the ass) But I've no spare wealth either. Just bills right now, glorious unpaid bills! (Hence the suggestions for others to do it)

is it possible to see what ip's are actually connected, to see if it is a region or maybe even an isp thing? (not me, the DM's that is) I see people on but still have not even had a sniff of the server pop up on any of my lists.

I see people on the server, but can't login my self. I saw the 'tip' on how to do it, but it doesn't work for me either. The server is reading as 'offline' in my favorites tab.

Works for some people. Doesn't for others.

This is just a wild guess of a theory, but is there any correlation between the group of people who can't get in game and the group of people who have nwncx installed? Like, could there be something screwy in nwncx?

Try telnet 185.29.203.11 5121 and netstat -an on the server
to see if the port is open or changing.
Did we use firewall or NAT?

None of the methods work for me and I do not have NWNcx installed. I added the IP bypass to my local host file for the nwnbioware multiplayer server and the gamespy server. Nothing worked before or after I did this. I am in Texas.

I'm in upstate NY. No CX installed. Nothing works for me -or- my husband.

I am quite sure it's not related to the Shutdown, but I am a bit wary about NSA interference...

I just installed NWNCX and it worked, if you want to get on you have to install NWNCX and direct connect to 185.29.203.8:5986, let it timeout and when you cancel the direct connect the amia servers populate in history ... so odd but only way till they fix the issue..

I never had nwncx and still can login into server just fine.
