Deemed either too cute or too ugly for this world based on who you ask.

Makes sense, gosh those were some insane stats full-blooded Faeries could have.

Tell me about it. I still got Ranth fluttering around the place with his ludicrous stats. Combined with the skill bonus to hide, he's the sneakiest of sneaks. Though admittedly, it's somewhat sad that the only others of his kind he sees around these days are familiars and the like.

This. Anyone know the answer? Seems strange for one type of spell to be subject to arcane spell failure & the other to not be.

Does the Amia variant of Tenser's transformation still turn you into a doom knight with a +3 longsword? Or does it only affect stats?

How does one get the sheathed sword on the back model that I've seen around? I certainly can't find it in any of the options I'd think to look at in the appearance changer (Neck, belt, robe, ect) so unless it comes with a heavy armor chest model, no idea where to look.

That's the scabbard. It's a leatherworking job item, and there are three colors to be used. It doesn't take up an inventory slot, you just use it and it applies the appearance. Come by Cordor Market Hall any night US time and have Kate show you how it works IC.

I don't think so. Though I can imagine that a neat DC item can be requested.

I could see it on a weapon or ammunition, like having been blessed to somehow work better in the hands of a clergyman. But I doubt it would get added to something you could always keep on. Very powerful feat in the right hands, which warrants it being taken rather than bought.

A simple yes/no would do before I'm ganked for asking such OOC.

Is there a staff at all in the module designed for Druids? (Either bonus spells or just a general staff Druids can use).

Freebie full rebuild on both accounts, I believe.

Is it possible to cast dark fire/flame weapon on gloves the same way as GMW? I heard from someone it's possible, but the corresponding page in BoT changes just the type of damage.

Yes, don't need the page. Just cast it on someone not carrying a weapon and it will go on the gloves they are wearing.

Is it against the rules to Shadowjump/Fly to a usually unattainable place (provided that all conditions are followed, shadows, line of sight, etc.) and shoot either PCs or monsters from that spot? I can't find any rules saying you can't do it, but I've found some examples of people who got in trouble for doing it. At the same time, I remember countless examples of people doing it during events and some of them were DMs also, so I assume this is ok... Just double checking!

Verdict?

I know the rule is listed somewhere, I remember reading it one time. And also that DM if its who I think we're talking about is no longer with us, due to those incidents and many others.

I meant more that I've seen it done by/around DM's so much that I expected it was some expired rule or never a rule in the first place.

I am not sure about that. It seems pretty stupid if it isn't allowed. Isn't that the whole point of their strategic use? They're already gimped for no particular reason. If you can jump/fly out of range of melee monsters, you should be untouchable (I mean, you could IC just stay airborne on your wings shooting spells and arrows).

That's all fine and dandy but the problem is the retarded limitations of the NWN engine and terrain. Flyers get exhausted, SJs run out of uses, but PCs have no ability to even attempt to surmount difficult terrain in order to get into melee range. Cover use is also limited in ways that imbalance the non-movers. Also, shooting on the wing is probably really damn hard. I don't see how any of the classes in question are gimped (also winged PCs aren't necessarily gimped at all).

Using it to flee out of danger is fair game, but shooting back isn't. But I dunno where the rule is.

The rule, as I remember it, was that you could not Shadowjump/Fly in PvP/PvM to areas inaccessible to characters or monsters.

I'm going to even use a quote for this one, since somebody nailed the thought.

(Though in PnP there are a thousand of feats just for the air control, but then again, we aren't in PnP)

I have a suspicion what Mosh describes may be a rule, yeah. I just think it's an unncessary rule. In PvM, jumping out of monster range to take them out slooowly with your inferior ranged combat is no problem; who cares? And in PvP, trapping yourself on top of a wall or a cliff isn't very beneficial. If your enemy doesn't want to fight you or lay siege out of range, they'll just walk away. There isn't much potential for abuse.
