It might be from the job system? Or one of the carpets you can select in houses.

Pretty sure there is a blue circular rug in the house setup. I think that's the only one I have seen.

Is it possible to request spellbooks for classes that don't have them? Say you make a rogue and then get a spellbook with the class?
By possible I mean mechanically, please ignore any IC or RP reasonings.

That would require meddling with hak files, so the answer would be no, as far as I'm aware.

Also Monk related, is there an upper tier monk monastery that a Tiefling would have access to? The one in Barak Runedar doesn't allow Tieflings in. Just to clarify I'm not asking where it is, just if one exists.

Crouching Lemur was being worked on, but it's pretty far down on the low-priority list.

Important question! How does the Visualizer DC item work, exactly? I might want to request one, if it does the right thing!

It can apply.. three different visual effects, I believe, on activation to your PC. Or are ya asking anything else in regards to it?

Is it a widget I can use, with three pre-chosen effects, or does a menu pop up when I use it? Do I have to apply it every log in?

The three effects are chosen when the widget is created. They are applied all at once. You have to apply them every time you log in. I think...

Yup! A widget, unless it's a custom scripted thing, it just has to be used each time and applies everything all at once until reset, I think, so you can log out and still have it showing if log back to same server - but not sure on that.

Ah! One more question!
Is it limited to what is available on the palette, or is it chosen via reference numbers?

What's the right command to make your summon speak?

/s f_voice s I am a summon hear me roar.
S can be replaced with C for an Animal Companion, F for an Arcane Familiar and B for bottled companion.

Regarding the mythal system.... is this: http://amiaworld.net/about/Mythal.html accurate? I mean, is that all you can do? I seem to remember someone using flawless mythals to add damage resistance? According to the page, you can't. Thanks.

Can the Empty Book created with the job system then be written in by a scribe to ICly create personalized books/journals?

What public, elf-friendly factions are around and taking newcomers? My PC applied to the Cordor Guard/Militia/Whatever a while ago, but that's not going anywhere, and Winya already has all the people it wants.
I really want to get my PC more involved in the game but I don't want to do a lot of dungeon farming or bossing.

Rebuild as a human who worships Uthgar, and join a wandering band of barbarians today! ;D
My own question:
How can I achieve higher than 63 AB with a melee weapon, if I have already drunk true strike, and only have 7 WM levels? I already have weapon focus and epic weapon focus, but 63 AB doesn't hit some people very reliably.

Then join the roving band of barbarians as their sole wizard. :O
No, but seriously, maybe you should look for a wizard-specific faction, if you can't find any elven ones to join. Starting your own isn't always ideal, since a lot of people don't have the desire or time to see a faction through it's infancy.

MisterLich: get a friendly mage to Mordy them, a friendly Bard30 to Taunt and Curse Song them and a friendly AA19 to drink Truestrikes and Called Shot their legs, and you spam KD till a 20.
The Bard alone strips 12AC if Taunt gets past Concentration.

The Bard alone strips 12AC if Taunt gets past Concentration. Taunt is actually a really good idea that I had never considered. I should invest some skillpoints into that in a rebuild. Do many meleers invest in concentration?

Is it possible to get a reverse monkey grip and twohand a bastard sword? I know it's built into weapon functionality in NWN2.

No, but what I do wonder is if it's possible to create a whole new weapon; a twohander with the Bastard Sword models, 1d10 damage and 19-20 threat that respects Bastard Sword feats.
A clunkier workaround would be a script that LETO's on the Bastard Sword(large) feats each time to you take the standard ones.
That still leaves the problem that you'd need two copies of each weapon, but I'm struggling to think of a way of doing that which isn't horribly open to abuse or requires all your Bastards to be Plotted.

I wouldn't mind any work around if it was doable. I had expected it possible with a second, two handed version that is otherwise identical to the first. I admit my ignorance regarding NWN possibilities.
How about monkey grip great swords that LOOK like bastard swords?

It would be glorious if bastard swords were usable both since and two-handedly on NWN. I think they work properly on NWN2 but I have no idea if it would be doable with what we have to work with.
I approve of this discussion, and would gladly use a bastard sword in two hands.

I've been thinking about the potential of Faerie Fire delivered by arrows, for my Arcane Archer. Could a DM please comment on the following questions:
- Would the Faerie Fire script be able to be applied as an On Hit effect of an arrow, without incurring a scripting fee? I figure it wouldn't, since the script is already in place and this would be a custom On Hit which activates the preexisting script.
- Would all of this be easier to try and request the Faerie Fire widget as it exists? (I think this would be a ranged touch attack, so effective AB would be lower than the AA's AB, however so would the AC of the receiving party.) Attached to this question, is it possible for a Wild Elf to request this widget?
Asking from more of a mechanical/feasibility perspective, the RP involved can be developed if this ends up as a request.

I'm no DM but I'll give you the verdict anyway:
Yes, its possible to deliver feariefire onhit, but it'd be custom and the script would have to be adapted for such thereby would incur scripting costs. However we don't do on-hit spells which is what this would fall under.
You're better off RPing your ranged touch from your feafire widget as an arrow. If you want it to deal damage it'd be possible to request a custom scripted widget that delivers damage and the faefire effect.

Question!
So I got the ACP pack, and my character is wearing that one cloak that's actually a wrapped cloth scarf (Can't get a pic atm). Now it seems that when I use the custom animation, the cloaks dissappears. This goes for any animation, and I'm not sure any of the other cloaks work as well... I also have the pre hotu walk animation installed which I also ahve seen take away from cloak animations but doubt that's connected.
I had this same cloak model on Myk, however it was also invisible (I didn't mind this so much) because of large phenotype, however... other players could see the cloak. What's going on with my cloaks man?
