Did you just call us turds? Either way Terra you do a lot of wonderful scripting for us.

Now it seems B has crashed and is not recovering.

Whenever it boots me off, but leaves others on, it also won't load up the website. Dunno if that helps narrow it down, but it's consistent every time.

This seems to happen for me too.

That being said, seems A is doing this again.

If you are going off of the forum Player Tools list, it reports people on the server, but they aren't there either. It's completely down.

A is having a hard time staying online and right now it isn't starting back up.

It's back up, didn't reset. Looks like the connection just derped.

But I can't connect to A or B. I can see them in the internet list. They appear blank in my history and favourites, and time out when I try to direct connect or connect through the internet list.

Same issue. I'm in FL on Comcast.
Can ping the actual IPs in a cmd prompt without issue, but cannot see or direct connect through GameSpy.

Will be messing with router settings/ports and let you know how that goes if I have any success.

Instead of pinging the IP, run a tracert. That'll show you where the problems may be in the connection between you and the server.

For instance, when I run tracert, the connection times out twice between netrouting.edge6.Rotterdam1.level13.net [212.72.47.230] and MaxiTEL-AS61346.Ge-2-2.ar1.spk.nl.netrouting.net [37.46.192.2]. This happened out 5 out of 5 times, so....

And if you trace route it now you're probably on a completely different route because the euro gate was down yesterday. ICMP, UDP and TCP are three different protocols, ping and tracert uses ICMP which carries no meaningful data other then scouting networks. UDP and TCP on the other hand requires the router to do some work so its likely that because the euro-gate is down it routed the traffic into places that went overloaded or simply discarded that data.

A has croaked twice in the past half hour.

A has lag-crashed twice now within the past half hour. B hasn't. However I have noticed that A was manually extended for some IG stuff going on, and after reset it was fine. But then B was manually extended for some reason and after that A was having issues.

edit: It's not coming back this time, either.

It came back about 20 minutes ago, and now it's crashed AGAIN.

Sigh.

Only took 15 minutes for it to crash this time. This time it came back right away, though.

B appears to be impervious to whatever is happening.

A just fucking crashed.

A crashed again, 30 minutes into reset. Last time it was 40ish minutes into reset. And again, B is not affected.

Something is clearly buggy with the A module.

Amia B - Just crashed for me.

Amia A - Continues to crash for me, all day.

Both servers are massively slow and unstable at the moment.

Dunno if it's just me but A is incredibly fucking laggy right now.

I can't got on either, B isn't as bad but it still is a good 20 seconds before it reacts then lags again.

Server and fourms have been acting up on my part all day today.

A is very laggy at the moment. :/

3 times in the last hour. It's kinda getting to the point where coordinating RP is impossible.

The server crashed something fierce a few minutes ago. Forums were down, too. Gave a 500 Internal Server error. Forums back but A and B are still not up.

There has been some serious lag issues over the past week. Server seems to spike and either crash or timeout for ten minutes at a time.

The server is still very laggy, spikes every 2-3 minutes, generally a 2-5 second delay on all commands. This starts at GMT 22:00 and continues generally for about 12 hours. Any idea what is happening?

A has crashed a couple times in the last 20 min.

A just crashed again. Seems to be happening ever 20 min.

Lagging and disconnecting from both servers every 5-10 minutes. This is happening to quite a few others, too.

Does A seem super-crashy lately? It's gone down, and I'm timing out trying to get back in. Second time tonight.

It's been giving me no end of issues. I can see A and get to the character selection, but just get a black screen on trying to enter the game. Meanwhile, AzureLuna, three feet away on the same network and an identical machine, is just fine. I can also log onto B just peachy.

(Also, I'm getting a bit cynical about these reports. A has had very obvious issues for months now and there's been no updates on why that is. Some reassurance that it's at least being looked into would be nice

)

This is still happening.

The server is bee-boopin' while we're all tryin' to bippity-bop, if you know what I'm sayin'.

I take it that someone has a clue as to why the server's...in particular A is crashing every day on a regular basis and usually several times?

Just want to know if theres anything that i can do to help or if it's something the DM's will have to buy some new hardware ect...

A was lagging really, really bad a bit ago. It also crashed before that. But the lag is pretty bad, B wasn't that bad.

edit: Seriously guys, something is wrong with A. What the hell did we change on A that made it so laggy? B doesn't usually get near as bad as A does, and A is crashing far more often. A has been like this for months now.

A is growing increasingly laggy right now. It's about a three second lag. And not in spikes, it seems to be essentially constant.

And there are only 37 people on it, 9 on B.

Nav is completely right.... next to impossible to move around without running in circles or jumping backward. Timed me out twice.

A just crashed. After the crash, surprise surprise, no lag at all.

So there has to be some sort of data buildup or something that is making the server derp out.

And it crashed again. Sigh.

And A's down, again.
