A messenger wearing simple yet expensive attire notable only by the numbers five and two tattooed on his bicep arrives at the listed locations and posts a note to the public notice boards. The script is in common and lovely to gaze upon. The blackish red ink may be unusual to those outside of the underdark, those taking a closer look would realize that it is blood of some kind. The signature is even lovelier still its slant and flourishes an art form in itself.

A Matron wrote:

My Dear Matthew,

It has come to my attention that you have stolen my property. The blade you have set your filthy fingers upon has served House Jess d'l'Orbb with distinction for more years that you have existed. I have been relishing the thought of the many ways to punish you for your indiscretion.

However, it has also come to my attention that you are an aasimar. That you are paladin. That you obtained my blade, Forgivness, by assassinating the one whom carried it. That you are in service to a demon ally of mine. This amuses me greatly.

Thus I release you from my service. May you continue to provide me with more amusement in the cycles to come. Consider Forgiveness my gift to you.

As Cyrene noticed the note as she passed it posted in shadowscape she rolled her eyes and tore it down. Laying it flat in the palm of her hand, a small hot flame burst, engulfing the paper. Though she leaves Shade's doodles behind, snickering quietly to herself. She then dusted her hands and walked off, continuing her business.
